If you had played the main story before then compare it to the current storyline, then you may understand. Before the story mattered, match that with the cool costumes and dope music - you get a rare enjoyable experience which I couldn't find in any other games. But now every girl and their grandma falls for the adjutant, doesn't matter whatever the adjutant does. That amount makes the game predictable, synthetic, fake which ruins the immersion and the enjoyable experience it used to provide. Now nothing matters, not the story(because you know what's gonna happen in the end), not the characters and not the short and repetitive gameplay. If you don't play the game for all the lewd characters, then you won't play the game anymore. I remember when I used to play COD and Battlefield, I used to think, what if there was a game that followed COD or Battlefield like serious storyline and gameplay but with anime girls, that would be dope, that would be something. Just imagine the potential for a sec. All of that potential went down the drain. I feel like all The old players who played the game have probably left, I was clinging to it but it gets unbearable after every update, the fanbase took a u-turn as the devs focused on fan service (more like delinquent service) and nothing else.

Childish battles are no fun, there is no strategy and challenge in the missions, everything is too easy, the story is not very good either. Instead of working way too hard on waifus only, they should focus on better gameplay, story and cutscenes too, to add some action and something we can enjoy playing.
