Your builds and vids are awesome, I found your channel and instagram separately like 2 months ago and love them. I built my first tall bike 2 years ago and would love to build more and do more with the folks that love freakbikes. I live in the Portland area as well. I think it'd be awesome to recreate one of you mini cargo bikes or one of the badonkadonks, anyways.... thank you for all your work and creativity. It's very inspiring to get out and build as well as ride.
Thanks for your kind words! Freakbike building begins with a fun idea and a group of friends. I highly encourage you to recreate any/all of my designs. A few friends of mine have made their own versions of the BaDonk over the years. There's one in Michigan, another in Seattle, and a few in Portland. I say make away! :)
I would suggest you replace the drop handlebars with cruiser handle bars. What do you care about being aerodynamic on a tall bike. That drop handle bar position is a torture position. Your neck will thank you.
good one. i'm looking forward to part 2
Fantastic and informative content, can't wait to build one
Nice build... and video. Anxiously awaiting part 2.
Comin' right up!
Espectacular trabajo!!😍
What an epic scenery ⛄️ We definitely need to travel to Portland on our next trip to the USA. 👍

Oh man, you are putting a lot of trust in those welds, ha. Also, is it Hi-Fi, or Lo-Fi; make up your mind dammit
HiFi is official, and a really cool locally-based company. LoFi is my little joke. 😉
"fiets of strength" LOL
