No matter what this kid does he’s not about anything. He just wants to be famous.

Everybody swapping to country, Beyoncé, post malone, now this. Something going on behind the scenes in the industry no one is talking about. Rap, Hip-Hop, & R&B must be too overly saturated now for these people to run up the charts as easily as they once did before. That’s why they’re switching genres.

As a very unknown musician, I was in the process of making a whole Hip hop album, but around 7 months ago I completely switched to country.
Both genres make sense for me to make because I grew up within the hood of a super redneck town in Dixie county Florida.
For me I just like the sound of country music more right now then any other genre, plus it would be more easy to get famous In country because of my family members and singers/songwriters in my friends list on FB that I can show my music too.
I don't know how closely you follow Post malone, but some time in 2017 I think it was, Post malone mentioned in a video that he would make a country album one day.
Which seems to make sense because for most of his life he lived in Texas.
I will also mention I was in the process of making a whole Pop album too, similar to the weeknds sound. This happened only because at the time I got deeply into listening to Michael Jackson, Bruno mars, Justin Timberlake, and The Weeknd.
I was able to create around 6 demo tracks, but then switched genres again because I stopped listening to pop.
I've also made Rock and EDM music in the past.

Everybody's trying to come drain the least saturated market gnere by genre. Similar to when white artist started using r&b music, then hip hop blew up globally, then everyone became Pop, then circled back around to where everyone and there mommas were rapping I.e Beyonce, Chris brown, SoundCloud rappers, influencers, and now the next wave is sucking country dry. For a second it looked like afro-beats was next, but the quick pivot to country spared it 🤣.
