    Definitely would like to see a deep-dive video on the P320 drop-firing issue (and the related VP9 info). I do know what makes the VP9 better than say, a Glock, but a lot of people aren't ready for that.
    As far as the P320, I have yet to see anything to make me believe that the current P320 iteration will fire unless *something* pulls the trigger. That said, SIG has shown in the last decade or so that the final testing for their firearms tends to be done by the end-users.

      I think the vp9 grip is far better than other brands i've been able the hold with the exception of the p210 target. It is another grip I place at the top of the heap. The M&P 9 Metal was also a nice grip. Guess I just like sufficiently narrow and rounded front-straps, palm swells and higher placed back-strap humps. It makes the grip feel a part of you. Or 'invisible' as I called it while holding the VP9 for the first time. No deficiency standing out and drawing your attention that you have to concentrate on and compensate for. One less thing to worry about. I didn't get to try the trigger, it was gunshow zip tied so I don't know how I'll like that. My experience holding it made me start considering the p30 and possibly the LEM version. I never liked the double action pull on the USP though. Too long of an initial reach, too heavy a pull weight and too long travel.

I’m doing the best I can with these videos, and trying to have them in a conversational format that would be like the fantastic conversations I have with customers one on one- and since you the viewer can’t be there to interact and actively participate, maybe I need to change the approach. I feel if it’s scripted and monotone it’ll seem less personal and maybe fake- but I’m working on delivery so thank you for the constructive criticism.
      As far as SIG outselling HK- I have no idea. I haven’t seen any dip in the increasing number of HK orSIG pistols coming in to my shop- so from my standpoint I dunno. What I do know is: HK doesn’t pay me or sponsor me or given me land or titles in any way lol. Please watch my next video all the way through, and I describe my thought process with that in a very concise manner. I don’t care about promoting something to protect a revenue stream. I’m never going to support something and use the respected name I have in the industry that I don’t believe is good for the consumer. I’m speaking genuinely from my honest knowledge and experience, and I will continue to do so in service to industry and consumer base I love, as long as I work in the firearms industry. Thanks!

    When it's a Glock it must be bad ammo... but when it's a SIG it must be a bad gun. That's pretty much what I seem to hear most of the time. (With the lighter trigger on that original P320, it might be drop safe. Not sure if you'd want to test it and beat on your gun dripping it several times to make sure... but if you think you can do it without causing any damage, I would recommend giving it a shot. I know you'll probably never use it as a carry gun, but I still think it would be good to know.

      Not true, when Glocks blow up it's usually the unsupported barrels for bigger calibers like 40sw, 45acp, 10mm from older generations. Supposedly some gen 4 and all gen 5 have more supported barrels now. With the P320 there's actual proof it's got a faulty design, Sig did a voluntary recall, Sig also paid off many victims to shut up.

    • @deucedeuce1572
      @deucedeuce1572 7 месяцев назад

      @@reachblowsdick7222 Yeah, but the upgraded P320's are not faulty. Nobody owns the original models anymore except a few people that wanted to keep them for posterity reasons.
      Yeah, we all know about the "Glock kaboom" and the unsupported barrels... but its not only those guns that have blown up and when Glocks do blow up, it's almost always assumed to be a problem with the ammo and not the gun. I'm not sure if Glock sells any of their models with unsupported chambers anymore, but either way, people aren't going around assuming Glocks are bad guns, because a few of their models in the past blew up... then assuming that each and every single accusation that ever comes their way must equal immediate proof of guilt.

    • @lazywolfguns2471
      @lazywolfguns2471 7 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for the comment. I’ll give you a teaser. Leading up to the voluntary upgrade program, SIG tasked newly hired Phil Strader from USPSA to oversee the issue and leave no stone unturned. They built big drop test rigs, that allowed them to drop a pistol from around 10-15 feet which far exceeds the low bar for drop safety set forth by SAAMI Spec. These rigs allowed them to drop pistols from those heights, at all different angles and every height in between, on all different substrates(ie concrete, gravel, rubber, tile, etc etc), in a completely scientific, consistent, controlled manner. And then, they purchased handfuls of all the competitors of the p320 on the market at the time, including the VP9, to determine through exhaustive and rigorous testing how the p320 stacked up against them all- pre and post upgrade. Props to them for that. That’s due diligence.

      Needless to say, they paid a bunch of dudes a lot of money for a period of time to drop a shit ton of all current striker fired guns at all different angles, heights, and onto many different surface textures at the bottom of the rig.

    I really wish people would do the research themselves when it comes to the P320. I did my best to follow up on each and every single accusation and lawsuit and every single case I could find information on was proven to be the fault of the owner/operator and not the gun or its design. Of the first 27 lawsuits, all 27 of them were proven to be the fault of the owner/operator... and of the 3-4 others, I believe they will all be the same, with the exception of one case that was using an aftermarket trigger (a pin in the side of the aftermarket trigger snagged on the kydex holster which set the gun off while the owner was reholstering). Even that though didn't stop the person from blaming SIG. To me it's no different than the whole "Glock leg" thing, where people accidentally pulled their triggers and shot themselves, but didn't want to own up to it, so they blamed the gun saying that it "just went off". Of course we all know now that Glocks don't just go off on their own (and neither do SIGS). There is also the "Glock Kaboom", which people claim that the unsupported chambers of Glocks cause them to explode. I can't say that's true or not, because I haven't researched it fully. Have only heard of a couple cases, but never found any evidence that proved it was either the gun or the ammo that was the cause.

      @deucedeuce1572 - Nope, you're lying. There's videos of cop's P320 in their holsters going off without them touching the trigger like the one video last year where a kid's foot barely grazed a cop's holstered P320 and it went off, I've never seen another pistol fire by just barely grazing it's holster. Also Sig themselves have paid off many "accusers", if Sig is 100% innocent they would have NEVER paid a cent. Also this guy's post upgraded X5 P320 went off inside his holster during a live steel match without him touching the trigger in front of the RO and many witnesses, they all saw he did nothing to cause the discharge, the RO of the event signed a document informing what he saw was true, AND Sig themselves inspected his P320 and found a faulty return spring and concluded IT WAS NOT USER ERROR!! Sig offered to fix it free of charge but "Gunghis" his YT name, decided to NOT use the P320 again. Here's the video on that ruclips.net/video/FBjo62vSYZk/видео.html
      The P320 is garbage, the P226 is Sig's best overall pistol, it's what I carry sometimes, it's reliable and best of all it's actually safe!

In one case it was a woman who modified a P22x holster which pulled the P320's trigger 95% of the way while it was holstered, which defeated the safety an left the gun in a position where any slight bump could set it off.

      @@reachblowsdick7222 As I stated, lik ein the other cases, just because a gun goes off in the holster does NOT mean it was the guns fault. A person would have to be WILLINGLY IGNORANT to believe that.
      Just like with the P320 that was put into the modified P220 holster. It went off in the holster too but it wasn't the guns fault. You believe it, because you're too ignorant to follow up on the cases. That is why I said I'll try to respond later. There's a SHIT TON of stuff you don't know (that you think you o). You repeat ONLY what you were told, but I highly doubt you ever followed up on the cases and actually did any of your own research.
      Of the first 27 cases of P320's reportedly just "going off on their own", ALL 27 OF THEM were proven to be the fault of the owner/operator and not the firearm. Just like the one case where the modified holster pulled the trigger of the gun INSIDE THE MAGAZINE so a small bump set it off. It went off in its holster, does that automatically make the gun responsible?
      In another case a man installed an aftermarket trigger. The pin in the trigger started drifting out the side of the trigger, so when the gun was inserted back into its holster, the gun went off IN THE HOLSTER because the holster was pulling the trigger of the gun (by the trigger pin getting snagged on the kydex).
      You can pretend to know what you're talking about, repeating lie after lie, but you really do not know what you're talking about.
      Of 30 or 31 cases there has been so far, 27 of the first 27 were proven to be the fault of the owner/operator of the firearm while the newer one's are yet to be determined (though some are most likely the fault of the owner/operator like the first 27 cases. There seems to be a trend here, just like all the "Glock leg" lawsuits and accusations. How many ignorant people said "but the guns went off in their holsters"?
      .... and this is nothing compared to the comment I wanted to leave you, that would have taken too much time for me to write in a couple minutes. You repeat lies as fact, but then think you know it all when you don't. You're not the first person I've argued with over this ad you're not the first person I've planned to collect the information and evidence to respond to... and I'm starting to wonder why I bother, because not once has one person actually taken the time to actually read it. They would rather remain willingly ignorant... and i bet to this day they accuse P320's for going off "on their own" in cases where it was PROVABLY FALSE. Especially at that time also, there were ZERO unproven cases and all 27 of 27 cases were already settled in court and Absolutely Proven to be the fault of the owners, whom ALL caused their own guns to fire, either by ignorance or negligence.
      That's not to say that no P320 could ever go off under any circumstances... but it's just to say that it's ignorant and untrue to say that a gun went off in its holster, so therefore it must be the guns fault. That is ignorant and a person must have an absolute lack of common sense to believe that. There has been MANY cases to prove such a ridiculous assumption to be foolish and ignorant.

      Correct. I do not work for HK. I do not receive any financial support from HK USA or Germany, and I am not sponsored by them.
      I have been to my knowledge the only aftermarket company to provide upgrades to HK Shooting Team sponsored shooters who wish to have mods to their pistols, and also have done and still do perform work for friends who work at HK USA- but I give them a discount- it’s not free.
      As I said in the video, I have worked on nearly all competitors for polymer framed service pistols, and my passion for HK comes from my own personal knowledge and experience with the quality of HK products, design, and effort.
      I am fortunate and blessed to be able to own and operate a business that allows me to work with what my experience shows to be the best manufacturer of firearms from a quality standpoint- but what many may not realize is that I could walk away from LWG tomorrow and be just fine.
      When I publicly resigned from Grayguns back in 2015, I was immediately called by Bill and Ryan Wilson from Wilson Combat. They told me that for the first time in their history, their board had voted on something unanimously- which was to offer me a position at Wilson Combat to stand up a division of their company that worked exclusively to provide aftermarket parts and services for polymer framed service pistols. I was negotiating the employment contract with them when we found out we were pregnant with our third child- which was 10 years beyond our second middle child.
      I was excited to work for Wilson Combat and this was a huge opportunity, but I could not ask my significant other to move to middle of nowhere Arkansas, away from her family and support system, while pregnant, together with our other two kids, especially knowing that I’d be gone from home even more than I was working for Grayguns for years here in Oregon.
      So, I explained this to them just as we had settled on contract, and respectfully declined. Then immediately opened the doors of LWG doing the work I had made a well respected name for myself with during my time at Grayguns.
      So, while I appreciate that you viewed and commented here, and even the question itself- I don’t appreciate the tone of your comment and sarcasm.
      Yes, I love HK products and i stand behind them and support them- but it’s not because of financial gain or a need from HK or LWG for me to do so. I honestly believe based on my knowledge and experience, and can demonstrably prove that they offer the most durable, robust, and safe firearms on the market and I don’t get paid to say that.
      Thanks for the comment.

    @Lazy Wolf Guns - It seems I can't comment on your video, did you or RUclips ban me from commenting? I'd like to respond to that Sig fanboy deucedeuce but I'm not allowed. I can post in any other YT video minus this one.

      I can see your comment here just fine- is it this video or a different one you’re having a problem commenting on?

      @@lazywolfguns2471 - It's this video in the comment section argument with that "deucedeuce1572" a-hole. It's like he can rebuttal my comments but it won't let me rebuttal his. Which really sucks because he thinks I'm backing off or something when I got video links that proves him wrong.
