I think this song reflects the sentiment of the early 70s when I was in my late twenties while Marie Osmond who sang this song was 15 years old. She is in her late 60s and I am 77 now. Time flies like an arrow, really. Thank you for whisking me back to a good old memory of mine.

Of all the covers she has performed, it seems that the two best and strongest have been "Stand By Your Man" and this one. I'm sure I haven't heard every cover she has done but I continue to search them out and she continues to make them. I have heard American singers that don't have as much of a repertoire as J-Min. Of course, so many talented Japanese artists have covered American music for the past 40 years or so.
Absolutely agree with you Donald, there are many different versions of paper roses but this is by far the best version and best of Ji min’s videos. Another song I reckoned is just as good is Ben, originally by M J. If you haven’t heard it, try it out!
