so I guess dating from March 2018 onward and by 2020 after 2 years of dating they started having the marriage conversation so when they confirmed there relationship at the end of 2020 they were probably already engaged which explains why in 2021 they skipped there engagement announcement and went right into marriage announcement because they were probably engaged since 2020 . So while crash landing on you was airing while we were all wishing they'll date they might of already been engaged xD

If they REALLY started dating in 2018 after they reconnected for the negotiations reshoots in March WOW because usually couples stay clear from working together again once entering a relationship but they wanted to work together again so much they did CLOY unless they agreed to the drama because by late 2018 there relationship was getting noticed by media and saying yes to the drama the following year basically allowed them to date in the open cause there reps can say the meet up is for there drama preparations xD the drama basically allowed them to date in secret for another year because they weren't exposed until 2020 and by then there drama was airing and everyone wanted them together anyway ^-^
