ScorchedEarthToys - not going to get one, I have KO's of the Takara ST version and the DX version of Benard. I know, they were trying to update the Ride Armors for modern times. but, I prefer the Add on bigger Leg armor that extended to make the toy Taller. and both my ST and DX toys had the attachable Targeting scope, the DX version had an actual opening door for attaching the scope. In, my Opinion they Missed an opputunity in creating this Toy. they should have made the Armor fully Removable and Stowable in the Containers , just like in the Anime. they should have made the HVT Canisters insertable in the Bike, and being able to store Extra Canisters in one of the Containers. they, should have made the Ride Armor be able to Transform into its Shipping Mode. my ST version had a Shipping mode. not sure about Robotech, but in the Mospeada anime, Yellow Belmont was shown in Later episodes using the Ride Armor to its Full Potential.
Ordered one from BBTS to go with my Stick figure and really happy with it. I really love these revised designs, the transformation is a bit noodlely but I can’t think of any other way they might do it for the result they were going for. Kind of terrified i’m going to break it every time i change modes though.
HEY! I had the same issue with the pin breaking immediately out of the box on the right arm-to-bike connector as in your photo review. I fixed it by slowly drilling out the old metal pin and replacing it with a nail. If you would like me to repair yours (free of charge) let me know. I can repair ANY toy. Period. I even rebuilt the joints on the fewture Megazone 23 figure (way to floppy). **Nevermind, I see from your video that you've fixed it already too.
My favorite Ride Armor, but with a price tag like that and the breakage, I'm going to just live vicariously through these videos. Fantastic looking - I don't mind the redesign of some elements at all. I mean it almost looks like Yellow will just ride off the shelf, transform and fly away.
I`m looking forward to have this cyclon...and yes. I already broke the handlebar in my scott`s cyclon!! So sad...but i think that for the price of these toys they should at least add more metal in the construction!
I have a kit of this from the 80's where they called it an autoboot, instead of Robotech. I knew the character and cycle from the Mospeada/Robotech cartoon so I bought it, (never built it). Cool stuff for back then !
I would love to own at least one of these but at that price point I really do think the fragility in the use of plastic is inexcusable. I really like Sentinel but I'd trade 20% of how good their products look for them using sturdier material.
@ScorchedEarthToys: I wish you will do a comparison between the Sentinel line vs. the old Beagle line. I know the Sentinel design got inspiration from the Beagle line. I have a Toynami version of the Beagle Ray. From the looks of it, the Beagle line seems to be more durable.
me too, I realized that you don't need to connect gaunlets in armor mode, and this thing is fragile as hell too..I already broke my headlight joint and I had to cast joint part off epoxy...
Bit surprised you never did the Sentinel Riobot Fuke Bartley, since almost no one makes her. Wondering if you'll ever cover the B2five Cyclones... Although I have those, but, as I'm in the middle of a move to another continent those are all in storage until the move is done. Hope B2five decides to do a Rook/Fuke Bartlett, as the B2five line is the proper scale to set up against my ancient Matchbox Invid.
Rook and the B2Fives came out just as I started my own moving and home building so she's on the to-do list as I catch back up... but lots of toys came out in that window so it'll probably take a while.
@@ScorchedEarthToys I understand that. Oddly, Rook is the first of the Riobot Ride Armors I got. She's the one still available at original retail price. For the rest of the Riobot Ride Armors... It took a lot of patient searching to find the boys at under $400 each (new in box, even). Even then, the first Lancer/Yellow Dancer vanished somewhere in transit, which sucked for me (didn't get him and had to go back to searching and finally get him at $390 instead of $330), and sucked for the seller (who had to issue me a refund, but lost their product). Still, the Ride Armor/Cyclone is my favorite mecha design of all time, and I do really like that updated interpretation - except for the Halo-esque opaque visor and etching. Otherwise, I think it actually improves on the original! Certainly have to appreciate how the base armor has abdominal plates instead of fabric.
By any chance, did you make a transformation video for the VR-41H? I literally broke the front headlight joint connector piece (very small circle moving piece) and the front shield....
what sized pin did you use for the replacement ?. same thing happened to me with my ray figure. you know even with this small QC issue's the sentinel ride armors are the best
saddle bags were Designed to carry the Ride Armor inside, and the "Cyclone" cycle had a 3rd mode for storage inside a Alpha Fighter. the saddle bags could also carry Extra HVT cells. see - youtube Mospeada ride armor Introduction.
you better remove the gaunlets free from the figure , for better display, I broke mine very badly for not doing so T_T it's a shame that this figure is so expensive broke like that
that just defeats the whole purpose of him holding the bike handle....it just doesn't look right when he is on the bike ad not griping it...200 dollars and have that issue..to many issues...breaking
He can hold the bike handles... but many aspects of this toy require being careful and that's one of them. I'd welcome either reshaped hands or grips on reissues to make it more forgiving (or metal grips!).

Looking forward for the release of Houquet et Rose 😍😍

I do wish the butt of the bike collapsed more like it did on the Scortt Bernard version.

i built it was kinda a hand grenade but was awesome the swords were the only thing cooler then wolverine
Beautiful one. Of all the companies doing Valkerie and Robotech stuff they're the best to me.
A lot more white on it than I expected... The pictures made the armor look grey... Still glad I got it...
I would love to own at least one of these but at that price point I really do think the fragility in the use of plastic is inexcusable. I really like Sentinel but I'd trade 20% of how good their products look for them using sturdier material.
cant beat Die Cast, its stand up.
They look GREAT , sooo good !!!

this one is more beautiful than the previous one..
Cool channel, I love Robotech, Macross, Mospeada and Southern Cross.
Super Dimension Century ORGUSS.
I always wanted Lancer's Cyclone, but never could find one. Couldn't find one of Rook, either. I have 2 of Scott's.
Great review. I have all three and pre-ordered the legioss..
I always disconnect the gauntlets in Armored Mode, guess that's why mine never broke on all 3.

Loved the review, but I hope someone someday makes these in 1/6 scale. 🙏🤞Someone please make these figures in 1/6 Scale please!!!!!!!!
I just can’t seem to able to transform the armour mode back to the biker mode for some reason.
Can you make a video ?

Technically its the clutch lever that has stress on it, break lever is on the right. I know, I know...
I appreciate that correction! Noted -
Damn looks great!

Ouch, bummer! I didn't do a video specific to the VR-41.
@@ScorchedEarthToys yeah...I am gonna have to make a dupe part using resin to replace it..btw I love your channel! Thanks for great channel!

I only wish I had the money to get this when I was a kid.
Now bring out the VR-038L Bartley and the set will be complete.
The black mospeada
Are they planning on making a Rook figure?
♥ScorchedEarthToys
very cool
Beautiful but waaay too pricey. We need more companies to pay attention to these old franchises, so we can get more options.
These toys are beautiful but Im scared to buy them as I know I will break mine somehow :P Ok now please make the Invid enemy toys now!
I wish they made the helmet colored clear plastic. Would be alot better..
Am I the only one thinking, "Geee wiz, those saddle bags kinda look an awful lot like box missile launchers" Aftermarket opportunity maybe???
saddle bags were Designed to carry the Ride Armor inside, and the "Cyclone" cycle had a 3rd mode for storage inside a Alpha Fighter.
the saddle bags could also carry Extra HVT cells.

Dónde se compra y por favor pone subtítulos en tus geniales videos
En bbts.com
Como no uso un script para la mayoría, los subtítulos no son fáciles, pero lo consideraré.
Rexcellent figure, do you hace a video Review of Rook's cyclone thanks for amazing video
Dammit, I just discovered this channel and I don;t need another thing to collect. *has ebay open in other tab*
I had the same problems with the toy, it broke off exactly from the same spots.
Hi ! can I use screenshots of your videos and your site to cosplay a Cyclone ? I might also post some on my Instagram in videos. THANKS !
Sure, thanks for asking. -
@@ScorchedEarthToys OK Thank you !
I do believe it is Pronounced Gallawnt.
These toys are positively Bad Ass!
I always thought it was Guh-lahnt but I could be wrong
mospeda,its plane is called legios

Classic designs are more better to my point of view...
Damn that’s overpriced.
I think is dumb to call it yellow when is not. I know the history behind it but it sounds stupid to call this yellow.
Habla demasiado 😠
