He's also assuming the men have no respect for the women and suffocate them in toxic masculinity, yet he's on the press tour and interested in the movie

that question about Stark using Spiderman as a child soldier is the greatest.
It is a very valid question to ask, bringing in someone who is a child at 15 is irresponsible in many ways, but at the same time it is also more than black and white, it is complicated - if the kid is already actively using his powers and doing things on his own in the real world, then perhaps Tony bringing him into the fold is being responsible because then this child isn't going at it alone, he has someone to watch his back and look after him.

Being from the UK, I was so disappointed in that guy. Like, you're letting the team down. Oh, and did anyone apart from Edith (the host) ask Sebastian a question? He plays a major role in this film, I wanted to hear what he had to say! :( Other than that, I loved this panel. All of the cast seem like so much fun and I loved their subtle digs at DC! ;)

I think Robert Downey Jr and Paul Bettany has a great friendship since they've been working together since Iron Man in 2008. (Paul Bettany voice acts J.A.R.V.I.S.) You can tell how RDJ looks out for him because he's continually interrupted and disrespected by the interviewers.

MK A Yeah she's been busy with Jungle Book and GitS
+Naomi I know. I looked her up for interviews for the new movie and there's basically nothing :( She doesn't do social media either so we probably won't get much of her talking about it at all. Black Widow's probably my favourite and I thought she had an interesting role in this one. She's a very flawed but redeemable character. I mean she's not as strong or powerful as many of the others, but that also gives her an added vulnerability in fights that is harder to feel with the practically invincible heroes. Her spy training also gives her a unique espionage and infiltration role in the group and she's been around long enough that her character actually feels developed (some of the newer heroes have had really rushed origins because of lack of time and the saturation of characters, so I just don't care about them as much). Also, her largely unexplored dark backstory, and extremely questionable morality, makes her a great contrast to morally strong characters like Captain America and his black and white views on morality and good vs evil.
+TheTardisDreamer Yaaaaaaaaas! Exactly! She's my favorite character too and I never knew about her until Iron Man but then I fell in love with her in Avengers 1 because she's such a mysterious character and we only see hints of her past here and there. Seriously, I never expected to favorite a character who's a non powered hero. But that's what makes her interesting (other ppl would find her boring and weak in comparison to powered heroes) because although she's one of the most average of the group in terms of powers/strengths, she has one of the most interesting and complex backgrounds. I think that's why they keep her past mostly a mystery in the MCU because it's just so complex.
Naomi Yeah, her backstory is amazing. I think that's probably why she's my favourite too.

It would be nice if people stopped asking gender related questions to the ladies of the cast, the interviewer jus comes off sexist.
They literally ask the same questions to them every marvel movie. "what's your diet?" "how do you feel about being around so much testosterone?" And when the ladies are asked an in depth question (that doesn't involve their romantic relationships or sexuality) I've noticed that they often struggle with how to answer because they're not used to being asked such interesting, complex questions.

***** you have almost the entire Civil War cast, along with the directors, Marvel Studios president, and you can't have a more professional setup than one camera and one mic? the zoomed in camera movement is so jarring. with how many interviews this cast has done, having extra mics could have moved things along much quicker.
+jeremy paul It's a press conference, we don't have any control over the mics. All the actors have mics on and it goes into a single feed. It's a big cast indeed and there's only room for a single camera per outlet attending the press conference. We think it's nice to go in on the actors when they're talking but of course they are very spread out in this layout which means sometimes it's difficult to decide whether to keep the camera on someone who isn't talking or move it. We think keeping the camera wide for the whole conference wouldn't be as interesting. It's a difficult balance and we do our best, obviously we realise we could do better sometimes, but when you do these things for real it's a lot more difficult than it looks.
