Akal Academy Bhai Desa is situated in the Mansa district of Punjab. The Academy was established in 1997.
The school has a strength of around 1600 students and more than 60 students who belong to financially weak families, are getting Free Education in the Academy.
The students feel blessed to be part of the Academy. The teachers are hardworking and cooperative and put extra effort into the education of the students. They inspire others to take admission to the school.
The Academy provides spiritual education along with modern scientific education.
Akal Academies running under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib impart Value-based Education and learning that works and make the students not only successful but also happy and satisfied in their lives.
The Academy has state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped labs, and a library.
The Academy emphasises on practical knowledge of the subjects and hence well-equipped labs have been established.
The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib believes in simple living and high thinking. Thus, Academies running under its aegis teach the students to take care of our Mother Earth and emphasize on Women Empowerment. The Academy takes out rallies to create awareness on ‘Save Environment’, Drug Abuse, and ‘Save a Girl Child’.
The Academy has installed Solar Panels and its capacity is 64Kw.
The parents are grateful to Shiromani Panth Ratan Baba Iqbal Singh Ji for setting up such an institution. Students of the Academy are well-mannered and very confident. The quality of education is better than any other public school.
The teachers share that the day at the school starts with reciting Nitnem. The teachers feel blessed to be part of the school as the Academy helps financially weak families by teaching their children for free.
Karandeep Singh, alumnus of the school of the 2013-2014 batch secured the All India Rank 30 in NDA.
