Jon Clay well I'm looking forward to it..... on a side note, was this goal against Chicago? I'm pretty sure I was in the TA for this goal and wanna make sure I was....
What's the song where it's just the trumpet and the drums doing a bouncy little melody, and then the instruments stop and the Army songs "ooooo-oooo-ohhhhh" a few times and then the trumpet and drums take over again? I think as the drums prepare to stop for the singing part, people sing "hey!" I know the melody, I just don't know how to explain it in writing
No no, I know the Tetris one. God I wish I could hum it for you. I don't know if singing goes along with the trumpet/drum part (if there is, I can't hear it at the games) but there is a section where the drums and trumpet stop and it's just people singing "ooooooh". It goes back and forth -- drums/trumpet lead the melody, then they stop and its just the Timbers Army, then back.
Truthfully I'm sure I know which song that you're talking about but I've been semi-retired from the TA for the last few years so I don't know any of hte names anymore :P
When you want to support the Timbers and be Dizzy Gillespie at the same time.
music to my hears!!!
What are the odds of you posting more videos like this one from the army?
There might be more in the future :) This is the best goal moment I've caught yet though

Now that I think about it, it's possible it could be a song from Thorns games. I will have to pay closer attention this season!
