Love how this expansion of the downtown turned out. And the palace grounds just looks amazing, really get the London vibe with the palace and palace grounds surrounded by a combination of skyscrapers and older buildings.
The view right from the first shot is so go. That skyline looks so classic. So good. And the Buckingham Palace esque build is really good. So effective in a downtown (notes taken).
I don’t think I even knew the court house unique existed! And the detailing round the place was great, especially using the bushes to get the ruined texture which looks like a path
Yet another beautiful build! The airport security fence is great at the airport, but not in scenic areas of the city, so I always use an asset called 'Rot Iron Security Fence'. (Methinks someone meant 'wrought'...) SO glad to see you back on CS1. After the reviews I have seen of CS2, I am glad I decided to stick with the original (and STILL greatest).
Awesome downtown. You can certainly tell in your voice alone how much you enjoy detailing. You are 1 of my favorite designers with an amazing amount of creativity. Enjoy and keep up the fun FC. Luv the content. :)
Another great build, and the different architecture style within a small area really works. Although I can't think of a simple way to do this without it all apart, I would be tempted to have red amusement pathways on the lead up to the Amsterdam Palace complex. The roads around Buckingham Palace are red and it would really elevate it.
That was a treat! I loved watching. Love the palace and the courthouse and the residential mid-rise neighborhood. Since you asked for suggestions, the only thing i would add would be a playground somewhere in.that neighborhood or near it, as those children living there would not have backyards to play in. Rather a micro detail, but i did't think you would mind! Thank you!!

Awesome! I think if it were me, I'd make some of the mid-upgraded residential buildings historical. They look nice peeking up from the rows of brick houses. But then again, it's all wonderful just the same.
Love the video as always. But I think the European high density would fit in better around the Amsterdam palace, instead off the Brooklyn and Queens appartements.
Feel like the royal gardens lacks some detail and perhaps more of a theme to its treeline. A historic castle like that usually has a pretty manicured garden to it, so I would consider adding an organized pathway flanked by bushes on both sides, at least closest to the castle and if you can, a pond as well. If you want to, I would recommend taking a gander at Rosenborg Castle Gardens in Copenhagen. I wouldn't copy the entire thing, but behold one or two sections and consider adding something like it closest to the castle itself. Something that would have been interesting to stroll through for a royal and their dignitaries. :D
just thought I'd ask as I am super curious... my pc is the same level spec as yours but my game doesn't run this smoothly... any advice? is there something I'm missing? I'm loving this series btw, been binging it for a few days now! fab city!
I for one don't mind the Finacial buildings or for that matter some of the general commercial buildings. That a lot of you builders care for. I kind of like a chaotic feel to a downtown the seem to cause.
Would you be able to demonstrate how to use the parking lines from the ROJ CC pack in vanilla? The only thing I can place them on is dirt, and they always tear the ground around them. I can’t put them on an airport apron to make a custom car park. Is there something I’m missing, or doing wrong?
