I dare you to invite a no one that no one knows…like me lol
Shoutout to George. His college-bound daughter and her friends come home at 2 am asking for nachos and rather than ask them why their eyes are so red, he just makes them the nachos lol
Honestly, George has the most genuine "cool dad" energy I've seen, so I wouldn't be surprised if this really happened lol
George seems like the kinda guy to be relieved that his daughter and her friends show up high at 2 am asking for nachos, so he doesn't have to explain to them why he's high at 2 am smashing nachos.

The fact that George gets so excited when his kids are on the show and talking to them about food and the history is so wholesome. Also clutch dad moments when he makes nachos for his daughter and her friends at 2am
if everyone's dads were even half as amazing as he seems to be the world would be a better place

Ruby's first official appearance on first we feast and her endearingly clumsy old man splatters sour cream all over both of them. That is so very on brand for George, it's why we love him.
It's funny how she seems to be the complete opposite of her dad. Calm and centered.
What's really on brand is that George burned himself. At this point i think it might be part of his contract.

NGL I was half expecting overly complicated versions of quick eats like other cooking shows might do, but these really are exactly as advertised! Just simple, quick and delicious food that reminds me of the stuff I used to make for myself when I was younger
Nothing made me drool more than Alvin’s sandwich!!!
Only problem is all the yolk came pouring out!! So you have to make a second one so when you eat the first one you can smother the 2nd in yolk :D

Yes Nicole! I made pizza out of crust you can think of! My mom worked and went to school, so I was alone a lot. I think being creative with pizza is where I really found my love of being creative with all foods!
I still want to see George on Hot Ones, even if it's not into spicy food!

english muffin pizzas are a classic, we used to always put little slices of sausage links on them
Nicole: I think the chicken nuggets make this a bit more of a gourmet snack. The nuggets we had were always frozen, so that would require cooking first. We would commonly have ham (or sometimes bacon) for the protein of our english muffin pizzas.
Oh man that english muffin pizza brings me back, although I never used nuggets but those mini pepperonis that cup up oooh yeah. I used to make those all the time in middle school.

English muffin pizzas are the most delicious little thing that not many people know about. I dunno about putting chicken nuggies on top lol, but just some sauce, cheese, and pepperoni is quick, easy, and absolutely delicious.

Mine were loaded baked potatoes and cheapy Italian bmt sammies. I also did the English muffins but no chix. So hungry now
Growing up in a Chicano household, SPAM was a staple at breakfast, esp. in the 70/80s when it was not the popular canned meat that it later became. If you were poor and couldn't afford bacon, SPAM was your breakfast meat. I continue to eat today. SPAM por vida. ;)
Funny thing I made nachos yesterday hahaha, chips, cheese, seasoned beef, and red and green peppers cut small, toss in oven till the chips warm up and the cheese melts and maybe Browns abit

Love Love LOVE Nachos. I make them all the time. I also like the 2 layer effect. However, I find that baking them at 350 for 1 or 2 minutes allows the cheese to melt on the lower level better. If I use the broil setting, I get melted cheese on the top with unmelted cheese on the bottom. Am I doing something wrong? I also get crispy chips all around when I bake for a little before I broil. Just sayin... but Thanks again for your animated delivery!!

that explains why people called Ignacio are also sometimes called nacho even thou nachos are food. i always just though it was an abbreviations like how sam is short for samantha or samual. but its a translation. was not expecting that
