The market's direction can swiftly change, with indexes frequently transitioning from a bear market to a bull market precisely when the news is most negative and investor sentiment reaches its lowest point. I came across an article highlighting individuals who achieved profits of up to $150,000 during challenging market periods. Considering this, I am curious about the best stocks to purchase now or add to a watchlist.

After that grad school was paid for by my employer. A tweak to your #1 is utilize your resources... if you can tap the money resource and come up with positive cashfow is it worth your time and effort you may want to proceed. Ooh oh! I have questions please!!! I just turned 30 && recently been learning about investing && paying yourself forward mentallity, so please bear with me 😅
I currently make 44K, so that's 21.50/hr, overtime is 32.25/hr. On average working 110 hours bi-weekly. I'ma signing up to work 30 more hours per pay period to take advantage of overtime pay. Recently began investing 15% to my 401K account. My employer matches the first 6% 100%.
      9% goes to traditional 40qk (pre-tax) and 6% goes to Roth 401K.
99% of my balance I currently have invested in S&P500 (FXAIX). I have 35K in the retirement account. I got 30 yrs before I even need that money.
Fiance && I own a home 🏠 that we bought in 2017 for 229K fully remodeled. After refinancing last year currently mortgage is on average around $1300k 😅 I wanna sign up this Fall for a HDHP w/ an HSA that my employer offers && even contributes $500 annually && I wanna invest into the HSA to take a huge percent out of my income cuz taxes are high in Chicago especially that overtime is eaten up by taxes 😭
Am I crazy that my peers tell me I'ma doing too much and not enjoying my life now that I turned 30? They were butt hurt when I always refuse to go on trips or vacations with them&& that we never have no fun && wasting our youth. My fiance and I personally live frugally, our fun is dif && live like hermits, video gaming, watching anime, trust me it doesn't take a lot to keep us entertained. We do plan to have fun trust me I wanna have a 2 week vacation in Japan with my fiance but that's on hold now. But they say I'ma just working like a dog as a lot of my income goes to taxes. Little do they know about pre tax investments from what I been reading and watching the past 4 weeks.
Like PLEASE is the work hard now, and play later mentallity the ideal route or is my high anxiety driven low self esteem brain 🧠 just driving me nuts? Any suggestions you have that I am doing wrong or can change? 😫

Hi digital girl, You are on the right path to financial freedom. Most people are jealous of a successful person. Financial or whatever the interest. Most people spend every dollar they make before they get their next paycheck. At one time I would get a financial bonus from my job. And everyone would ask each other what we were going to do with it. I would say I would be investing it in something. They thought I was crazy. They told me I should use it to buy a new television or something else. That is what the bonus is meant to be spent on. So You are definitely on the right track Have Fun Investing Your Money. The Simple Life works for me and You. The media tells us we need to spend all of our money on stuff. "F" Them-:)
