The state of hip hop nowadays is a matter of opinion there is no definitive answer, if you ask older artists they might say it's changed for the worse however if you ask the younger generation they say it's changed for the better, just an example.

He wasted so much time with so called beefs. they didn't have any real stories behind any of them.
