It's odd so many people dont know groundation. They so tight. The hold your head up horn battle was unreal... they keep changing the players but each reiteration is tighter and tighter. This drummer is slick as grease. Bass as always this new dude is deep and low and jazzy when need be. As is the heart of groundation... the jazz. But I'm tell you, I'm digging this new album too. Next generation indeed.
So much proud of my brazilian brothers that had made into the Groundation, but the older formation had more power into their live perfomances... I miss Kim Pommel and Sherida Sharpe power, hope I could get more word sound and power of them someday
Junto com o SOJA formam a nata do reggae mundial atualmente...claro que Israel Vibration, The Abyssinians entre outos mestres são insuperáveis, digo dessa nova geração.

I did not know he was so white and not of African or Jamaican descent; wonder if hes more/less respected by Rastafarians by not having true blood ties to such cultural heritage/history(?) And creating reggae with only his knowledge of the cultural struggles but not the firsthand/older generation experience to be handed down through dna of spirit? I love Groundation; and I've read online biography, much traveling&studyinf he's done; i am just full of questions in his relevance in true modern Rastafarian culture (?) Is he the Elvis of reggae of sorts(?) What Do other black raggae/Rastafarians musicians think of a white man expressing aspects of their culture? Id hope its appreciated.
There is an interview from Brazil that he did that you should watch He is Jewish so they look at him as someone from the tribe. It's not their culture we are all originally from Aftrica. There are lots of Caucasian reggae musicians.
Da-lhe Brazuca!!! Viva Groundation! La musique de la vie!
