Heads up Steve, The Bear S3 is streaming on June 27. The S3 teaser already out. Perhaps pace your S1 and S2 reactions accordingly to sync up to next month premiere to catch the viewership momentum wave.
"Too much drama for this Mama"
Love it. 😂❤
The conversation between Sydney and Carmy was so important, and it needed to happen to set things in motion to further establish the dynamic between the characters in upcoming episodes. The dialogue in this show is so realistic and I love how real the characters feel. Another great episode and another fantastic reaction from you guys!! Much love ❤❤
Going from corporate kitchens to mom & pop kitchens is surreal fo sho. But for me, I loved it. Sid saying she didn't want to make another dish she didn't care about hit me so hard. SO been there
Carmy could be a great boss. It's just that when he's working, he's always like 5 seconds away from a full on panic attack, then everything seems too loud and too bright and everything is just too much, which results in a very short fuse at times. When you catch Carmy in a calm situation, like the conversation Syd and him had outside, where a panic attack is nowhere to be seen, he's easy to talk to and usually very understanding. Once Carmy has a better grasp on his mental health and learns to cope in a healthier way, he'll be a great boss to work for. Though, at this point he isn't the biggest problem in that kitchen.
I hope your move has gone smoothly. I’m really glad you’re continuing with my favorite show since Andor.
That conversation between Sydney & Carmy, Ayo & Jeremy did a phenomenal job. Carmy’s reaction to Sydney’s gotcha was wonderful.
I watched Andor & The Bear in the same month and they are actually life changing media for me.
@@SpitFir3Tornado Agree 💯
The not crying while cutting onions one is the way you cut them but most importantly if you have a very VERY sharp knife you won't need to worry about it.
It's not just about the knife. A knife is just a really sharp saw and you need to remember that saws cut by movement. Don't push through what your cutting....slice
I love that you are reacting to The Bear. The Bear is so refreshing. The deep plot and character development is amazing. I just finished watching both seasons 1 & 2, and totally enjoyed it. I am essentially rewatching the episodes with you, and am enjoying you getting to know Carmy and his family in and outside the restaurant deal with the tragic death of Michael. Keep up the good work. 🙂🙂🙂
these reactions are the highlight of my week! also, kudos to Nikki for recognizing Molly Ringwald right away. hardly anyone else does, haha 😄
So I worked in a speical ed school and one of our most chaotic classrooms was completely transformed into a well run machine when the new teacher made some strategic changes. So I think the kitchen needed more structure and in the long run can work.
For cooks, brunch is hell. It's the same five things over and over and over and over and over and over. Bacon, pancakes, scarmbled eggs, omelettes and eggs benedict fooooorrrever.
Sunday is now my favourite day of the week! I'm really enjoying re-watching this with you guys.
I need you guys to get to season 2 it’s mind blowingly good
There are a lot of ways to get around crying from cutting onions. One of them is to have a really sharp knife, we know Syd and Carm can handle it since they had the proper training.
Molly Ringwald played Archie's mom on Riverdale for 6 seasons.😊
So excited for SE3 of "The Bear" to drop in 7 weeks time on June 22nd.
Three episodes down.
Fifteen episodes to go.
I loved this show and i'm enjoying your guys' reaction to it
Can't wait for your reactions every week!
17:21 When I rewatch this part, I feel it in my souuuulllll
So much chaos (🪜) in this episode but tbh on rewatch you see how WELL they’re crafted and acted. 🙌
been a while since i am actually watching on the same timeframe as nikki and steven. i was late to the bear also. and only started watching g.o.t. last year (up to season 6 of the stikker reactions). i'm glad i finally took the plunge since it really is a very interesting style of show i'd never seen before.
I feel like you guys will be excited once you find out who plays Michael
I am really into this show I knew nothing about it and I never heard about it until I watch the first two episodes with you looking forward to watching the rest of the season
6:41 Molly Ringwald was in Dahmer the Netflix documentary series from a couple years ago.
i know this doesn’t count as an official vote but i really hope you guys watch succession!
Great review
Yasss Steven! ‘Club on a Sub’ is my go to.
It's veal stock and it takes, like, six or eight hours to make. She spilled an entire day's worth of work.
Are y’all ahead with The Bear reactions on Patreon? Or is it just full length reactions? (I love this show and am SO impatient! 😂)
I checked and it’s just the full length reactions, I subbed to JamesVsCinema just for those episodes he watches ahead of time lmao
@@TheIceTrey Thanks! And same with JamesVsCinema!
Tina is scared of losing her place and being left behind. She is lashing out, out of fear.
F- Tina. Nobody likes people who act like that. Grow tf up and act like a damn adult.
That's how kitchens are doggy ,there fucking chchaotic 😅😅😅
you guys should definitely react to challengers when it comes to streaming!!! movie literally changed my life
How??
Is there going to be a full watch along for this episode?
On their patreon, and you need your to sync it up with a local version for proper visuals/audio.
I'm sooopooo glad you both have started this show 😊 and I can't wait until you get to the conclusion of season 2 👌 I'm here for it! Jeremy White who plays Carmy has said on an interview he is going back to chefing in January to prep for season 3 😁 can't wait!!!!
P.s if you wouod like another series suggestion there one called Sugar with Collin Farell that I'm excited about... enjoy 👊
Lol as someone who worked at Jersey Mike's the only shit talking and blow ups happen in the walk-in.
Two episodes a week would be amazing, but I understand it would be complicated
lol guys 😂 determine how you cut the onion itll make you cry.. theres ways to cut it so it dont release that chemical to make you cry
What Syd did not explain was that she was basically giving french names to the roles they already had in the kitchen. Just stressing they had a place in the hierarchy and it's importance for the restrant to work efficiently. But again it goes back to Ep 1 System baby, many of them fear change.
She wasn’t giving them French names because she wanted to. She is using the names that the culinary world uses in high end kitchens. She didn’t need to explain it, as it was already stated by Carmy that it would be run like a French brigade.
@@hrussell9677 That was what I was trying to to say.
4:21 iykyk
6:32 Molly Ringwald was in Dahmer with Evan Peters a few years ago.
Eat before watching.
Let it rip, buddy
Just wanted to say Molly Ringwald still acts. Off the top of my head I last remember her in Riverdale tv series. But i know theres other stuff more recent.
You guys are allowed to laugh, this is a comedy
If you manage to find a way to watch the show "Kitchen Confidential" from 2005, I would highly reccomend it.
It has Bradley Cooper and many other super talented actors, it is a drama-comedy set in a high end kitchen, it is REALLY good.
Check out interview with a vampire!!!! I think it deserves a reaction
The last thing I saw Molly in was the Jeffrey Dahmer show that was on HBO...she played his step mom and then she was on one of those teen shows on Netflix.
Watch From series
Yooo you guys gotta watch fallout ! Even if you didn’t play the games you guys will like it I know it!
can you do a react on Fallout?
6:18... clearly, Nikki has never been to Waffle House
Molly Ringwald play the mom of Jeffrey Dahmer in Dahmer
oh boy, if they think the show has been stressful so far...
No x men 97 reactions ?😢
after seeing the first two seasons of the show, it feels like the Bear is the new Sex and the City, in terms of the unlikable protagonist, how the city becomes another character, and a very balanced supporting cast.
Unlikeable protagonist?? What show did you watch??
You guys know this is a comedy right? Feel like you guys take some of the jokes a little too seriously this stuff is supposed to make you laugh lighten up a bit guys😂 feel like yall are treating it like a drama which it does have aspects of absolutely but not everything is supposed to be taken seriously
There are some very serious and emotional scenes in addition to funny scenes. It is not strictly a comedy even thought that’s how the Emmys categorized. This is a reaction channel. If you don’t like their reactions, then scroll on.
It's a comedy/drama. Just wait until they see the episode Seven Fishes. Definitely not a comedy episode and Jamie Lee Curtis was amazing in that episode.
@@hrussell9677 when did I say it was solely a comedy I said it has dramatic scenes as well but they treating it like it’s only a drama and not a comedy/drama. No shit it’s a reaction channel are u familiar with constructive criticism or is every form of media you consume just perfect?
@@jaea.1484 u literally said it’s a comedy lol
@@nataliestclair6176 yeah ik I’ve seen the show there is a bunch of heavier episodes but I hope they don’t get to like episode 7 and be overly concerned about lot of the stuff in this show is over the top and supposed to make you laugh and I hope they lighten up just a bit for the comedic moments
I have a pet peeve about Chef /kitchen shows that pretend it's the atmosphere of working on the Manhattan project or prganized crime. Like i get there's some intensity and pressure in the industry, but it's not life or death, you're dicing veggies bro
Well, bro. The kitchen is just the context. The show is about a guy, a very successful genius-level guy dealing with the death of his brother, family dynamics and his own depression and anxiety.
