- Seda joins us for a driving mock test at Wood Green driving test centre. Her real driving test is in just over a month and although she's pretty good behind the steering wheel she's got a few driver faults, like gears, to get right.

Best part of a Sunday is the double whammy of DS-TV and ClearView uploads 😅
8:40 can't tell you how often people don't use the bus lanes in Manchester. The majority are all the same, Mon-Fri 7am-10am then 4pm-7pm. There was a horrible queue of traffic the other week, out of operational hours, and I just drove through the entire bus lane, which was great.
Also, she is lovely 🥰
Thaaanks Haydn! Appreciate having you around 😁
Also watch dgn driving too unless for any reason you don't like him
@@James_Doyle83 I do indeed
Learning to drive on RUclips is the one. Do you even need an instructor?!
@@dwayner901 lol it was slightly tongue in cheek but you can definitely cut down a lot of lessons and cost by learning on RUclips and practicing with family!
Greetings from Poland. I am qualified driver for 3 months but I enjoy watching UK videos
Wow what’s it like driving in Poland?
@@DrivingSchoolTV We have theory test 12 basic questions
8 advanced questions about your category
Practical: You must check one type of light and one thing under the hood of the car then you drive forward and backward in a designated lane. Touching bollard or going out of line immediately ends exam. If you touch a line or you stall second chance. If you do it one more time for example 2 stalls immediately ends exam. Then you do a Hill using handbrake. After passing this part you drive around 30-40min. You drive at all kinds of intersections/junctions and if every task is done you are going back to test center and examiner tell you the result. If the examiner have to intervene your exam immediately ends. Examiner drives back to the test center and you failed. That's all
Wow the polish test sounds HARSH!😮
@@fitnessfran If you live in Poland it isn't that harsh as it looks like from my answer. I passed on my 3rd attempt
You're a great instructor Francis. A student shouldn't feel afraid to make mistakes. You're always encouraging which is great 👍🏼
Thank yoooou 😅
@@fitnessfran defo a great instructor and driving coach no doubt about it.
Mine doesn’t lol
I’m so glad I’m learning in a small town as it’s got to be so hard all that traffic!! Once I pass I’m gonna need a city driving lesson with Francis and Laura
Also id feel safe in a car with Seda, she she definitely has the safety and basics down, Good luck for her test.
Yaaas!! Definitely come and see us for a scoot around london once you pass Stacy! 🏎️ 💨
Good luck Seda! 🤞🏼
I think that first fault of disobeying traffic shouldn’t be one only because she put her foot down and if she had stopped she would have either been over the cycle lane and also it most likely have been an emergency break
Maybe I’m a harsh examiner but it’s good to be harsh on mock tests to point out any potential faults for more learning opportunities 😊
U are v good instructor Explain little thing v friendly
12:33 bros got the driving instructor rizz 😂
She is really good for someone who has been driving for only three months would suggest more practise with driving instructor.
Is she though? She's changing gears while pressing the gas and she didn't go clutch down when coming to a stop at one of the give way lines.
Why did you give her a fault for stalling? There was no-one affected by it, and that wouldn't be marked as a fault on test?
There don’t have to be anyone else affected by a mistake for it to be marked. If someone else was affected unexpectedly a stall would likely become a serious. Hope that helps!
@@DrivingSchoolTV But still, I've never known anyone to get a fault for stalling. Just wondered why.
@@richardclarke9966 Stalling is marked as a fault. It's marked as a serious fault is someone is affected by it.
Hi !
My driving test is tomorrow Thursday at 2 pm which route does that the examiner takes me please?
How did it go?? There’s no way of knowing where the examiners will go, the routes are randomly picked.
@@DrivingSchoolTV I failed the driving test 🥲🥲🥲
@@noudinana4609what did u fail it on
Didn’t she get a serious fault for disobeying traffic lights?
No, he started the mock test after reaching the test centre. That happened before.
Yeah I did mention it and point it out but I didn’t count it on the score board because we hadn’t really started yet so I thought that would be a bit unfair 😊
Thanks for a great video. I have a test in Wood Green coming up as well. I also don't really like the area. The pass rate is also low, but again, there are not many other options nearby where tests are available. It's always a very busy area with some mad things happening on the road!
Seda did quite well after having only a few months of lessons. I've been learning for a while and, for some reason, have started making silly mistakes like forgetting to go back to gear 1 when stopping. So, the video is a good reminder for me.
Good Luck Seda, we all want her to pass next month. 😊
Yes we dooooo!!! 🤞
@@fitnessfran a question about driving if you hit the kerb of the roundabout in turning right third exit, is that a minor or a serious? Thank for
Reply
@@BALHAM69 I’ve seen that be given as a minor and a serious before! I’d say avoid the kerb but if you touch it don’t assume you’ve failed 😊
@@fitnessfran thanks
Yea, the question was on my mind so thank you
Thank you Francis for your videos! I passed my test Friday, I'm still in shock 😅
Whooooop!! Congrats Chanelle!!🎉
Bring in more Mock test vids
Keep em coming
Yes Sir 🫡
Passed this week after religiously watching your vids thanks so much!!
That is awesome! Where did you pass?
Morden test centre ☺️☺️
Ahh awesome we love Morden!
Francis, you are actually a very kind instructor. You always praise the stuff done right. You are so calm with mistakes - not blaming the learner but treating it like a learning point. A true gift.
Been a while since i have seen your videos ! Glad to see a test for Wood Green as thats my training route ground (as well as Totty)
Welcome back!
Very helful.
There is a roundabout in the video, you said that only middle lane can be used to enter, but just 2 thoughts
1. Can we use right lane while entering the round about and exit in the right lane?
2. Can we use right lane while entering the roundabout and then change the lane to the left most just before the actual exit?
Because if I am not local to that area, probably I would have choosen the right lane to enter the roundabout.
She uses her clutch way too much even when just slowing down. My instructor used to always tell me put your foot on the stand on the left unless slowing down or changing gears
Another great video 🎉🎉
Thank you 🤗
Thank you so much for the videos!
I have a driving test on Thursday at 8.30 am and I am wondering which route does the examiner take me?
Usually they try and avoid areas with traffic but there isn't one specific route that they'll definitely take you on
Hi Francis, which car is this? Thanks in advance.
It’s a Mercedes A180 😊
good luck and awesome video
Thanks!
Did a practice test at different times in Wood Green.
I found the time when parents are late for the school run, was the absolutely the hardest. It's like they don't care and I, and anyone with an 'L' plate, are enemy number 1, 2 AND 3!
Thanks for this. My test is in December.
Good luck Seda Frances other awesome video. Again I very learned so.much. Good tip was keep distance from car in front to give you time to react plan ahead .
Hi what driving centre do you work for, do you do automatic lessons? How much are mock tests?
I will use tap the gear tip thanks
I am going to be upgrading to my initial four-year auto driver's license in April.
How did the car move off on gear 2 after she completely stopped? 24:44
I have a test here on bank holiday morning do you think it will be busy?

Hi, can you clear one thing to me, please, because by the law it is not permitted to drive on the bus lane if even do not drive by mistake so I am confused now so how is it?
Check out this video on how bus lanes work. Hope it helps!
You should drive in the bus lane or risk failing your driving test!

@@DrivingSchoolTV Hi, thanks for your reply, but how do you mean you should drive on the bus lane or I will fail? Do you mean I can drive on it on my driving test because it is allowed? But not another time?
The video is all about when you need to drive in bus lanes. Check it out!
