Bubby putting on a MASTER CLASS in the mental game. He never complains about his lies. He just says what he has to do and he goes for it. Always positive.
As an employee of the golf club, I know it’s a beast of a course. Bubbie gets it, even just scoring par on most of these holes is an amazing feat. The rough is long as hell and the greens are very fast with extremely subtle contours. Most of the players give a rather dismal reply when I ask how the front nine went.
Love that Matt is trying to be positive and involved even with struggling!! In the past he’d basically stop talking if he struggled awesome to see him try to stay positive, we all know it sucks to play bad golf!

They didnt play "Bad" Golf, they played a Bad golf course. Muirfield is a Dogshi* golf course. Murifield is like that guy you know that is an A$$hole all the time just because he likes making people mad and frustrated. It shi*s on everything fun about golf. These guys got to play it for free, and didn't even finish it. Just a pathetic golf course ran and setup by A$$holes.

Boys, I can see you were all dead tired from the bus trip to Muirfield and you all went out and played your best on this uber difficult course and filmed the content for our entertainment. We all get to see the fun you guys have, but I know it's a grind too. Really appreciate how upbeat you guys stayed through it all (maybe some footage fell on the editing floor), but I just know that when I'm golfing tired or in a sour mood and it's going south, it's super difficult to stay positive. So, props to you guys for battling it out bringing the content to us regardless. Again, much appreciated!
My favorite thing about Bubbie is that he knows his place. He doesn't have insane expectations for himself. All he wants is to play the best that he can play. Humble.

A few observations: 1. Bubbie continues to remind me why golf is fun. If you have a positive attitude and just take time to look around and appreciate the privilege it is just to be able to get outdoors and play a round of golf it will always be fun even if you don't play your best. 2. Murfield Village is a beast of a course: Narrow fairways, thick rough, and narrow undulating greens protected by bunkers and water pretty much at every hole. I think even if they had scrambled it would have been hard to break par.

Shoutout to Matt man, dealing with serious back pain and he keeps fronting up and still hitting some of the best shots of anyone. Even though it hasn’t come together for a full day again yet his positivity though the trip is awesome to see.

I like this format a lot. Feels like every person gets to play their ball and the game is more interesting, maybe the teams are harder to balance, but its more fun to watch IMO
