6 step + hook step back = 8 step. That's a really cool concept. Didn't even thought about that when I learned about the hook step back a few days ago, although it's pretty obvious these 2 should be mixed :). Thanks, I'll try that out next training.
Hey Vince is it okay to have variations of the 8step? Cause the 8 step I was taught and that I teach to my younger students is where it looks like the 7 step but you just do the same step (like the 7 step) on the other side as well to make it 8
so like what should we do, the most i got right now is basic footwork like the 8step like 2 coffee-grinders/helicopters in a row and a shoulder freeze. Should i just work my core and handstands? FeNdy HeNry
dt6197 If im in your position right now, I would increase my strength, to do that, u need to headstand to a handstand, u will have a hard time to do that but thats what practice for. And then from babyfreeze to a handstand..(sorry for my bad english)
As far as I know, that is a variation of a 6-step, it was done by Kazuhiro from King Ark Crew, Japan. In his video he uses a 6-step but he transition his footwork like the tutorial. I've watched the 8-step tutorial before and it was taught by Crumbs in your channel too and it's pretty different. This link will get you to B-Boy Kazuhiro at IBE 2008 and try to look at 0.34 ruclips.net/video/ZFaoripecrk/видео.html
B-Boy Acesix That guy is super Fresh!!! That is the step!!! I am not sure where this step originated. I was taught it by my friend somewhere around 2003-2004.
Vince can't do certain things Pie can such as hand hops, and Pie watches Vince's channel and learns from him lol. Also what do you mean who would win? They've never versed before, and it's based on personal preference. Whose style do you like more?
Jungwoo Roh I've seen them both dance. I prefer Vince's style more. Although, I do like Pie's tutorials more simply because I know how to do majority of the things I want to in Vince's channel and some I'm just not interested in. Whereas Pie always has something new that I've never seen. I have learnt a lot from this channel though. They both are great teachers, my favorite all time dancer currently would be Hong 10. I'm really looking forward to his match against Physicx uploaded soon
really love your tip to make the 7&8 step look different than the 6. Its really easy to blend them into kinda the same thing

I there any ideal weight for breakdancing? I am learning but am having some struggle with my knees when I get low in to a crouching position.
Frank Ferland interested aswell
There's no real ideal weight, it just may take more time adjusting your center of gravity when Breakin, especially if you're new to the style
Frank Ferland im fat , but i can do windmills and headspin pretty easy.. and i can keep up with no hands too..
