It is bigger when you look at County's attendance today but for real rivalry it's the Derby with 'Chesterfield' they're in neighbouring Derbyshire but are about 3 or 4 miles closer to Mansfield than our Nottingham Forest & county rivals, there is however with the spirites' certainly more bitterness involved and 'unfortunately' lots more aggro involving fans but most fans of any club in every division love a bottle fight with local rivals don't they, its just passion for the game & their club really? But stags dislike Chesterfield because it was who Jimmy Saville followed ya see?
