    Happening in court:
    Day 12
    By Video Deposition:
    Travis Mcgivern - Depp’s Bodyguard
Jack Whigham - Depp's Talent Manager
Richard Marks - Technical Forensics Analyst
Doug Bania - Intellectual Property Consultant
    By Video Deposition:
Erin Falati - Amber Heard's Former Nurse
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. There is a possibility of celebrity witnesses testifying, including James Franco and Elon Musk. Tune in to the Law&Crime Network for daily coverage of this high-profile trial.

I don't understand her teams strategy of claiming Amber did the damage before the Post article and since the suit was filed over the article it must be thrown out....
If this case was being ruled on by a judge then yes, that technicality strategy would probably work but that will NOT work with a jury. They wont care about a technicality. If someone does something horrible but gets off b/c of a technicality the public is not going to care one bit about a technicality... they just want justice any way they can get it. Amber's allegations are obviously what halted Depp's film career, to the jury it wont matter if the allegations were made in 2016 or 2018 and which time hurt Depp more, if they can't hold Amber accountable for the 2018 false allegations, they WILL hold her accountable for the false allegations from 2016.
It's actually quite shocking what her own defense team is doing.
Her lawyer: The allegations in 2018 isn't what hurt Johnny, her 2016 allegations are.... but jury, remember you can only hold Amber accountable for things she said in 2018 and not 2016 even tho she was saying the exact same thing.
      Good luck with that.

My Dad always used to say, "There is a difference between scratching your head and tearing it to pieces," which is exactly what these inept, unprepared, losing attorneys are presenting to the world. They are tearing their reputations to pieces one day at a time. I was a court clerk for many years and have witnessed many court trials and attorneys, and I see "desperate" written all over the defense's presentation, questioning and badgering of witnesses. They are deliberately rude and unprofessional. The judge, in my opinion, is unprofessional herself, making faces and gestures, laughing and making fun of witnesses. She/He should be held to a higher standard and go before the Virginia Bar's ethics committee. My guess, knowing juries, is that they see clearly what a horrible defense and the sneaky tricks these clowns are putting out there to them.

That’s one of the reasons these expert witnesses are worth the big investment- if they’re really good, they provide more than just factual testimony- they sternly hold their own in the face of attempted misleading by the opposition. I don't believe that she had real bruises, every picture of her "bruises" is always pink. Bruises don't start pink, they start off a purple/blue color and then fade into a gaunt like green. Typically with facial bruising, there is swelling, especially if it was immediately taken after the altercation happened. Lastly, she shows a lot of pictures around her eye and if she truly had injuries around and or near her eye that came from an impactful punch, she would've had at least one blood clot in her eye. JD is also almost always shown wearing rings on all of his fingers, if he were to have hit her as she claims, there would've been a lot more damage than those pictures show.

Don't forget that Amber's picture of bruises on her face shown to the RN today appears on the right side of her face. Media tells Johnny being right- handed. The bruises should be on the left not the right side. If Amber is right handed it would explain it being self inflicted which is what the evidence clearly shows. I haven't seen anything where she mentioned being hit and all those rings hurting from a punch. It never happened.

Did Heard's lawyer actually just object to *Depp's agent* stating what character Depp would play in Pirates of the Caribbean? Did she seriously just object to it as speculation? Clearly I don't understand the concept of speculation as it applies to the courtroom. But even if it didnt fly, the very fact that she tried to obstruct his agent from stating what character Depp would almost certainly play, it just all so profoundly freaking absurd at this point.

They are against anything being testified to about Pirates 6 and Pirates 7.... finding ways to object anytime it's brought up... because they know that it's a larger film... with what would've been huge money for Johnny Depp... which then goes to show the Jury how much money Johnny was losing because of the OpEd... and the lies & defamation of Johnny from Amber... which would score a larger payment amount for Johnny if he wins the case. Which would cost Amber & her team from their $100 million payday... split up between them... with the court & lawyer costs plus 10% on average as the most usual percentage lawyers get on lawsuits... That's a $10 million plus payday for Elaine & Her team... split up amongst them however that all works out. Which is still a great big payday. So they don't want anything that could show large amounts of Johnny Depp out of Money because of Ambers Bull💩

Johnny Depp was 100% a victim of domestic violence by Amber Heard! The op-ed piece that Amber Heard wrote in the Washington Post newspaper article completely destroyed Johnny's career and his reputation. This is very sad that a woman can be so vindictive to destroy Johnny's career. I hope Johnny wins his case!!! I think Amber Heard completely destroyed Johnny's career and she was physically abusive towards Johnny. This is very sad and a tragedy! This is just my opinion as I am following the case on RUclips.
