I looked up Kat from watching Tangled years ago. Am in the US, was in the mood for an Aussie show so I looked her up again and found Offspring. I'm so glad!
We all want a sister like Billie Proudman 🥰♥️ I've watched the show like 8 times and still laugh so hard 😂 All the characters make me laugh but Billie made me laugh the most
USA person here...just discovered BBC streaming. I am loving it! Offsprings was better than any USA series that has aired in 8 years. Scouring the web for past additional work of these actors. Any suggestions?

The Letdown has some of the same actors from Offspring - Leo plays a drug dealer, Brodie's mum is in it and the woman who wrote/stars in The Letdown was in Offspring twice as an expectant mum. Loads more - you will pick them out - lol!! It's about how gruelling the first year of motherhood is - funny and dark at times - I have watched it three times - already!! Was that Mick's gay brother in Sisters by the way??
honeychurchgipsy6 Kat is in Mr and Mrs Murder. A short series that is very good. I think that I streamed it. Now I am trying to get SBS to stream so I can watch The Hunting (Keddie).
There are quite a few shows with Asher & Kat (Not together though, except I think Asher does have an episode on one of the shows) on Amazon prime. Asher: ‘paper Giants’, ‘Love my Way’ & ‘party tricks’. ‘Love my Way’ is a really good show. Another great actress who stars in ‘The secret life of us’ is Claudia Karvan & she has a few shows on Netflix & Prime. She and Asher are both in ‘love my way’ & that’s a really really good show. You’ll have trouble getting used to Ashers character though, Julia is not much like Nina 🙁, but you will learn to like her. Edit: I am from the US as well & have really gotten into Australian television. There are some great shows & it seems like the most popular actors are in all the best shows. I’m glad we were able to see a lot of the shows streaming in the United States. I don’t know about Hulu, but Prime and Netflix have a lot. Enjoy! 😊
I just found the show on Netflix and am loving it. Just started Season 6. I can see how season 5 could of been the end but am happy for 2 more seasons to binge. Kat and Asher are great and I loved this interview. I'm in the Los Angeles but my son lives in Perth. During this pandemic, I really missed him esp when I was watching the family scenes. I was also a single mom of twins, so I related to Nina raising her daughter without a partner. It wasn't easy but we do it for the children.
I have always loved offspring. I used to watch it with my mum when I was younger in primary school and early high school (when it was still on tv). Of course mum skipped the adult scenes 🤣

Season 5 was such a good ending that after 10 min of Season 6, I turned it off and pretended it didn't exist LOL.
That interviewer was channeling Billie Proudman - voice, mannerisms, everything!

Kat kept the show interesting and the characters connected even when it derailed and became boring in seasons 6 - 7.
Wonderful series ! Hated to see it go pass season 5 ! Season 6-7 wasn’t as funny
