The home of Texas tech University I was out there this past October to check out the campus and it's pretty big and pretty interesting obviously I didn't explore the rest to city cuz I know how boring it is unless you like on living on campus cost living is pretty low here
Not the most scenic city but there's some kind and lovely people there and Texas Tech is a great university. Some of the neighborhoods are actually quite nice.
Urban road renewal, and plenty of it. Texas, where you can get on the freeway. Or not. And the Texas turn-around. Home of the Wed Waders. Nice campus, and some pretty women. Ted Liggett. You know what he does. Guess he can in Texas, but maybe not in New Mexico.
@@CreatorPluggReacts Well in basic terms it has recovered, but it just does not seem very vibrant. Now Mike might have been there on a Sunday, but there seems to be a lack of buildings for a town of 263 k

It appears the downtown never quite recovered from the tornado that struck the city on May 11, 1970.
