Can anyone explain Genesis 30:18? Leah thinks God has blessed adultery? Leah gave slave girl to her husband? I know God would not bless sin. Maybe this is included in bible to show Leah's sin and her misunderstanding of God? Yes, and God can work through our disfunction. But we still need to know right from wrong. Anyone?

Im not excusing this but i think i have an explanation. The torah says that we should not participate in incest, but much of the old testament has this until exodus. Why? They didn't have the torah yet, there was no law guarding it and not only that this was still only a few hundred years after the flood (Maybe a thousand? I"m not good with time.) so the only way to have children was through incest or giving someone else as a wife if you were barren. I think this is talked about in romans, that they did not know what was sin and what wasn't, not until exodus and Deuteronomy. if anyone feels this needs correction feel free to comment. hope this helps

Funny you should mention the meaning of Issachar , yet the tribe of Issachar were portrayed in the bible as very intelligent people, scholars if you will.
My point is your beginning does not define your ending. Be blessed.
