I rewatched this movie to death as a teen. Because Faith in Buffy (Eliza Dushku) was the first woman that made me think “hang on…. I might not be fully straight” 🤣🤣
Chuuuu you are a beautiful human being, and your videos bring joy to people. Never doubt that what you do on RUclips makes an impact in the lives of others. If you're ever in the DFW Texas area, let's have tea and eat jollof!
I LOVE this movie. I mainly watched it because Eliza Dushku was in it and I grew up watching Buffy and of course, Bring It On. However, I love horror movies and this was such a good watch. The right amount of gore (to me), the deaths were great, it's not LONG, and the inbred hillbillies are fucking frightening. The two leads weren't stupid either and there's just the right amount of frustration when it comes to the character of Carly.
This is my mf movie! My sister and I wood re-enact the scene with the radio tower and throw our bratz dolls in the Christmas tree screaming “ I rather jump than burn to death”. Good times
Just what I needed today. I haven't even watched yet but I know this reaction will be the most entertaining part of my day. Thanks as always for just being you.
I was just talking about this movie like an hour ago! it's so good. just rewatched it last night & it still holds up. one of my absolute favorites & you are too so that makes this that much more amazing. love from canada
Horror movies of the early 2000s were IT!!! They defined my entire childhood, and I love to see so many of them being reevaluated by the horror community, they deserve so much more appreciation!
The "Hell yea" New York clip seamlessly transitioning to the lead guy jumping out of the watchtower window was 10/10! You did say you've been working on your editing skills and it shows!
Early 2000s horror makes me genuinely concerned by the directors of these movies! Like they come up with some SICK shit! When A Stranger Calls traumatized me, Wrong Turn made me nauseous, The Strangers made me unable to sleep, Final Destination made me paranoid, Joy Ride activated my fight or flight and Eden Lake got me to actually throw up! Special shout out to Martyrs, Hostel, House of Wax, Saw, Cabin Fever, 28 Days later and Session 9 for the nightmares!
I was a little kid when I watched this, too young and still traumatized 😭 scared to walk under trees cuz I thought they were up there waiting to kill an eat me 😂
I showed this movie to my family a few years ago, and the character they most seem to remember is Three Finger. AKA, "The guy who runs around going "HEE HEE HEE HEE!!!"."
Not a huge fan of 'hillbilly horror', but I do enjoy the cast of Wrong Turn, particularly Eliza Dushku and the very underrated Lindy Booth (the redhead who dies early). Check out Lindy in Cry Wolf, a tight little thriller.
I had no business watching this in the 1st grade, i've been traumatized since🥲. There's something about early 2000s horror that just stays with you, this and "I know what you did last summer" live rent freeee in my nightmares.
My family and I watched Wrong Turn a few weeks ago and we were gagged lmao. You should watch/react to Insidious, Chu!! (Chapter 2 is especially iconic honestly) x
Yessss🎉 this whole series of movies really fucked me up as a kid but I loved it. I hope you react to the others, the 3rd one is one of my faves out of the movies
To answer your early question. There’s plenty of Blonde final girls in the Friday the 13th franchise. Would love for you to do a retro watch of some of those one day. I know you’ll make them hilarious
I really enjoyed your reaction to such an underrated and iconic movie. If you have the time, please react to the Korean drama 'The Glory'. It finally finished and it's so fantastic! I just know you will love watching this drama.
i have two brothers and the 3 of us love horror movies but this is the one movie that traumatized all of us when we were kids. i haven't watched this one since i was 9 😅 love your reactions btw✨💜
@@Chuuzus Chuuzus, can i be cheeky and ask for one more reaction.... World war Z... if you haven't seen it, you will absolutely love it, no doubt about that.
That's Sloan from Entourage, not Elena from a The Vampire Diaries. 😉 Fun movie though! I was going to watch all of them maybe 2 years ago, but maybe the third one I could only find as a pay rental. Gotta see if it's free yet!
“Right is always right!” My left-handed ass: 🫠 Thank you for reacting to this horror GEM Chu! You really brighten my day w/ your reactions! ❤️ Love you!
Yessssss chuuuuu this movie traumatized me as a kid like nooooo nooooo nooooo😭😭😭this stuff happened in real life like nooooo wayyyyy keep making my day tho sweetie🙂🙂🙂😭😭😭very fun time movie tho 😊❤️❤️one of the best 2000s horror movies not up for debate
This reminds me of the movie “The hills have eyes” it’s similar to this. And think there’s like 3 movies. The hardest Movie to ever watch is “The human centipede”.
That summertime sadness singing while looking so unaffected is GOLD 😂😂😂😂
i was dying 🤣
Early 2000 horror trauma hits different ✨

3 finger still hunts my nightmares 😭
@Chuuzus now you have to react too the other wrong turn movies
“Are you dumb? 😑” is my favorite thing you say in these videos 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 literally
2000s horror at its finest, so fucked up that it’s perfect 😂 thank u for the reaction Chu!
it’s so perfect! short and straight to the point
@@Chuuzus are you going to react to scream 6????
Early 2000's horror definitely left a positive impression on me. Though at the same time, I like to think that I'm flexible with that sort of stuff.
Wrong Turn was one of the first horror movies I watched as a kid so it kinda holds a special place in my heart.
I've always thought Carly looked like Elena/Nina too but never said that outloud, so hearing you say it feels so validating! hahaha love this!
they look so much a like it’s crazy
I rewatched this movie to death as a teen. Because Faith in Buffy (Eliza Dushku) was the first woman that made me think “hang on…. I might not be fully straight” 🤣🤣
I used to have a huge crush on Eliza 😍😍😍😍
She is so fine
Love how Chu always comes through with the random song breaks like at 21:53 😂
"Call Buffy...Buffy where you at girl" lmao i love it 💜 Buffy is so iconic!
I love how you're so blunt about them dying😂😂
LMAO @13:33... that Regina Hall clip was so well placed it felt like part of the movie. lol
Chuuzu baby u have been on top with ur reaction and always a great way to enter the weekend. Thx for the video sir

when he started singing Summertime Sadness, I lost it.
that Chris Evans looking lead guy was also in Ghost Ship! which would be a perfect movie for you to cover imo :)
Yes this video is coming in clutch I needed something to get me through this hour before my lunch break lol Grateful for you Chu
So glad you did a reaction to this! I was hoping you would ever since you did the poll. Thank you 😅
“What are you waiting for?!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Faith Lehane has 9 lives. No monster or humanoid is taking her down. Loved the reaction!
