Its a galaxy s6 with a s pen, where is the note? It was suposed to be a power horse, swap bateries if you need, put 128 gb sd cards to have extreme capacities, where is the point of that? That is not a note, that is a bigger iphone 4 with a stick in its ass
***** Not really. If you load any aosp rom the performance difference is nonexistent. Higher specs don't benefit already smooth performance. It's like computers, a 980ti won't make minecraft more enjoyable than a 970.
Milton Williams LOL they did? My god.. another point for not buying the note 5. I use the IRB on my phone ALL the time. They really fucked up this year.
no SD card? LMAO this is a huge fail from Samsung. They emphasized how they "listen to us" and how the next Note has always been more successful than the previous one, but not this time. This is almost a complete epic fail from Samsung. I'd never give my Note 4 for this
***** Sold my 4 last night, picking up a 5 64gb soon as it is released here. Can't wait!!!! I always love camera upgrades even if MINOR so for me this is a easy decision.
***** They did listen to their customers, by using better materials and removing bloatware. And most of their users don't even use those two features so yeah they're listening loud and clear. They can't hear you nerds though lol
+ProWeAreSo Same here except I'm still using my Note 3 and I'm happily gonna keep using it rather than go for the Note 5. Being able to use my 10,000 mAh Zerolemon battery and 128gb micro-SD expansion card is too important for me to swap it for a shiny new phone. Majorly disappointed with Samsung at this point :>\
+Syahmi Samri Consider the source, dude but it is interesting how some morons have a habit of fabricating things about people by calling them a nerd just to be able to say something negative about them. I'm also gonna pass on the Note-5 as well because in my job as a Firefighter I'm on duty 24 hours at a time and I've GOT to have an ultra-high capacity battery because I can't always charge my phone so I use a Zerolemon 10,000 mAh battery and a 128gb storage card in my Note-3. Has nothing to do with being a "nerd" but in the world according to idiots like *TheMusketITuckedIt* they'd rather act like kindergarten kiddies by name-calling than simply be an adult. We'll see how Samsung feels when Note-5 sales aren't what they hoped.
correction, the note 5 won't sell that well in my opinion, the only reason people would buy it is for the look's. Well I'm curious to see how how good it will sell, I might be wrong, I'm not the average consumer so...
Tony S. Those are minor upgrades, the note 4 and 5 cameras are almost the same, both phones are blazing fast, hardware as far as design goes, they both win.
jbuggieee i love Samsung i do but when the s6 came out they started to flop and did you see the s6 edge "plus" thats a fucking joke its basically the Note 5 im so done with Samsung i really wanna see what Apple does bc i think this is the year Apple will beat Samsung just my opinion
i dont mind non removable battery or lack of sd card... but why the fuck would i want to have phone back made of fucking glass if i have to put it in rubber/plastic case anyway.
I don't think Samsung understands their customers. Many people are going to bitch about what the phone is lacking. I know it can't be THAT hard to engineer a premium feel removable back and keep the SD card expansion. Just my opinion. Not to mention there's nothing about this phone that really stands out as "wow" I really need that. Pretty much everything has already been said and done. They wonder why sales are sliding but they should focus less on Apple and focus more on what people want and listen to customers, then sales will soar
+Sanchez Ernie123 obviously they didn't. They've fucked it up. The only thing left of the Note series is the s pen. Once they take that away, it's done for good. This phone will flop, trust you'll see it in the headlines. Samsung, what happened to the note line?
Sanchez Ernie123 I disagree completely. Every comment in every post about the note is not good. People aren't happy about it, they're disapointed and moving on to other brands. So no, they obviously didn't listen. Read the comments on youtube & facebook if you don't believe me.
Sanchez Ernie123 they didn't please anyone with this phone lol. The only people that are happy are the loyal dickriders of Samsung or people who are pro Apple. Everyone else (which is most people) are not happy. They can't please everyone but they can please most. If they had put a 3500Mah battery and kept micro sd card expansion, I don't think people would be to sour about the sealed battery. However a 3000mah battery handling quad hd won't last a whole day. That's garenteed. Which is why people are upset.
Sanchez Ernie123 You're a dumbass, and all the people complain about the same things, I am pretty sure most people are complaining about 2-3 things more than plastic feel which imo can easily be fixed altogether. Don't get me wrong Samsung makes great phones but they clearly dropped the ball on this one and they'll wonder why their sales are dropping....hint it's not because of the plastic feeling. It's gadget spam, copying Apple (without innnovating), and ignoring the biggest issues related to their phones, especially hardware.
+Sanchez Ernie123 YOU are the obvious dumbass, you can't even distinguish the difference between your and you're, you illiterate ignorant ignoramus. The s5 was a flop because it's not what everyone wanted. I only want a phone with a s pen I could care less about other Samsung phones.
To anyone saying that the Note 4 is slow when he presses on the home button, it's actually an option you can disable. Since holding the home button can open Svoice or Google whatever you use, it takes time to make sure what you wanted is really what you wanted. You can disable the option of using the home button for Svoice so you could get to your home screen faster.
I'll definitely be purchasing both the Galaxy Note 5 and S6Edge+ on Friday August 21st. These are the best phablets on the market period performance and battery life wise nothing else matters or comes close. With Screen off memo, Scroll capture, New Spen pop out, and Theme store on the Note5 and S6Edge+ is going to be simply dope as hell. Osama Bin Laden does your note 4 lag as of now?? cause most Samsung phones lag after a year or two....I used s1 and am using s3 now(but 1gb ram, cant be helped)
Mahdhi Rahman You can change out the entire Home Screen if you want, you know this right? Unlike Iphone I have a 3d Home Screen called Next and it blows any other phone out of the water with functionality.
Jose Cazares I would wait. But the problem is, I believe Project Ara was delayed, so most likely going to be April. I don't think it's even possible to get Project Ara on-contract, so maybe i'll get it when it comes out. for now i'm getting this.
WTF, no MicroSd slot...AND no 128gb... this is a joke. Here is our 4K camera...but you will only be able to shoot 10min video...cause then you will be out of memory...
As an IT person, the function of either phone would be just fine, but so far I'm extremely happy with the Note 5. 14 hours on my battery and it's 67% after regular use. The speed, camera, design, bezel size and display are fantastic. I don't mind cloud based storage for extra crap, but we'll see how the higher res picture/movie file storage goes.
+HORIZONx720 Yeah, I have a total of ~96 gigs in my note 4 using an SD card and I got the 64 gb SD card on sale for like $30. Fuck limiting my storage to 64 gbs. Maybe I don't use all the memory, but I have it in case I need or want it. And it's just the concept of being flexible with storage and battery that is appealing to me and it baffles me that more people don't care about it. Why would anybody not want that kind of flexibility? Why would anybody not want to have the option to get upwards of 128 gigs of storage and the option to switch out batteries when you need to? And why in the world would any company take out the IR blaster from the phone? It's nonsense really. I don't mind the nonremovable battery, but the SD card expansion is a must for me. It's funny though because the Galaxy A8 in Asia (not sure which country specificially) has a totally metal construction but it has an SD card slot in the side. So the change of material is no excuse for no SD slot when your company included it in a metal constructed phone.
***** Sounds like many other phones too. Sony also has a glass back with non rremovable battery, but they at least have expandable storage, htc also does not have removable battery and neither expandable storage if i remember correctly. Just because apple does it too does NOT make it an "iphone"
Everyone keeps saying the Note 5 is a big S6...well so are all the other notes. The s6 once had an SD card slot and removable battery too. Why is it surprising the note 5 went the same way as the 6? Everyone expects MAJOR upgrades every year. It hasn't been that way for a while .
It is VERY good that Samsung made this mistake. Means that they will listen to us next year... The Note 5 (IMO) has a bad design. It looks like an iPhone. If only they added removable battery (or even bigger battery) and SD Card slot. If they don't fix it next year, then I am really quitting Samsung products.
My note 4 isn't slow or glitchy at all......and yes the NOTE series of phones should be able to remove SD card and the battery. If you actually have a note phone and you are using for business and personal like you're supposed to, then you'd know not having an SD card slot is a deal breaker.
I'll be honest I had many problems with my as cards. Like, my videos on my Sony Ericsson would become broken, the sd card would take a long time to load etc. I'm fine with UFS 2.0 memory on the phones. Besides, I got a good carrier, Google has online cloud storage (free photos and video storage) and wifi in many places I go.
Differently from the most vocal audiences I quite like the Note, it looks to be an amazing phone - though I do agree that the built in storage is a bit tiny (though I don't think expandable storage is necessary, they just needed more built in). I guess the small battery could mean that the battery-life could be a possible problem...
I do own a note 4, I actually do like the note 5, I might actually buy it, if I can use it on my vr, at the end of the day if you like upto date gadgets then people like me will buy it regardless of removable battery/expandable memory.
man i'm mad! i was gonna upgrade from note3 and note5 has no battery swap! even if the battery life is 20-30% better (which i doubt), in 10 seconds with a battery swap i could make it 100% better. the sd card slot is ok because of streaming and so much cloud storage avail. i might get the note 4 then. or how about the note4 edge? are they still around? Samsung, quit copying apple!!! you fell for all the ridicule on the 'fake leather' removable back. It was PERFECT. Watch apple go to a removable back and swappable battery. The world would erupt in joy. A bright spot in my day was watching some moron hugging a wall outlet tethered to it charging their phone when i knew i had an extra slim battery in my pocket.
its perfect. i got the note 4 f the note 5. note 3 sucked to me. i seen the small improvements they made in the 4 and i love it. samsung fell for all the nonsense about cheap materials etc and thats when they lost...apple will reign supreme cause of this iphone type phone they released smh guess i'll go somewhere else in 2years...maybe Lg idk
I just don't get why they would make the battery smaller if they are going to make it non-removable. Aside from the slimmer bezel, I think the Note 4 actually looks better with it's polished angular chamfer and subtle horizontal lines on the front face.
Samsung Galaxy Note series - Galaxy Note • Revolutuonary breaktrough for phablets • High performance at its time - Galaxy Note II • Enchanced S-Pen, nice to use • Great specs & sharp display • Sleek design - Galaxy Note 3 • Distinctive design throughout Note series • Powerful performance • Better multitasking • Lightweight - Galaxy Note 4 • 2K display • Awesome camera • Fingerprint & heart rate monitor • Metal body - Note 5 • Make people wanna buy Note 4 • Fragile glass design • Galaxy S6 with pen • no new features
Did anyone noticed that the fringerprint sensor is way better in the note5? It seems when Touch ID comes out, everyone screamed and said it's awsome, and when sumsung finally got the same thing, no one seems to care at all. Didn't business users need a fringerprint sensor to protect their documents in their andriod more than iPhone users?
I can see that spring for the S-Pen wearing out within months. I think the Note 4 (at a presumably new lower price) will be a much better buy. SD slot, removable back etc...
The people saying they are not upgrading from the Note 4 to the 5, I don't Samsung had you guys in mind that much. Most likely Note 3 and non-Samsung users
One of the reasons I wanna buy this phone is the removal of the SD card, I know a lot of people wants to expand the storage but how can you expand the internal storage of any phone and thats where usually troubles starts to occur. you will always run out of internal storage when installing many apps and it will affect your phone overall performance not to mention if you add a low quality SD card to it.
I don't mind the smaller, embeded battery but why did they remove the IR blaster! and the micro sd card is importent because it also alows you to store important data that you wouldn't want to lose incase if something happens to the phone.
I've been checking out my upgrade options from my current Samsung Note 2 and looks like I will not be getting the Note 5 for sure due to it not having a removable battery and the storage capacity. Samsung Note 4 will be my choice!
I'm very happy with my Note 4. Definitely not downgrading to the 5. Never say: "I'll never remove the battery." If your phone is stuck it will remain stuck because you cannot remove the battery. My friend's S6 was stuck and he had to return it to the service center. I'm sure if he was able to remove the battery, the problem would have gone. I had this a couple of times on my S4. (Probably because I was flashing ROM's)
What do you do when the phone freezes and doesn't respond anymore and you can't do a battery pull...Just like on the S6. My friend who recently bought the S6 said when his phone stop responding he just let had to let it sit for half the day before it came back to life. This really puts me off getting the note 5! Anyone now how to restart the phone when none of the buttons respond?
My upgrade is due ,October the 10th, right now i have a Nexus 6 and, at first was excited about the Note 5 but, as usual, Samsung just stepped on their D----!! i WATCHED THE LIVE PROGRAM TODAY AND SAMSUNG SAID THAT THEY LISTENED TO THE CONSUMER!! REALLY???? Pulling the battery out and putting back in works wonders so, if i had that option now, it would have saved me lots of headaches with my Nexus 6. I love the speakers on the front, just makes sense. Samsung wonders why they went into a serious sales slump, they simply over price and take away what made them get to the top.
Was looking for an upgrade from my Note 2, note 4 might just have the edge and I'm sure after rooting the phone it should be possible to import extra features present on the Note 5 that are really nice using the s pen. I read it somewhere, yes, note 4 will sell more...
when i found out that samsung will be releasing note 5, i was kinda worried bcos i just got my note 4. but after reading/watching the specs, i regret nothing! the reason why i bought a note 4 is bcos of its removable back and SD card slot. my dad wanted me to buy either an iphone 6/6+ or the s6/s6 edge but i insisted on buying the note 4.
Even though I love the Note 5, Samsung may as well call it the S6+ because the only thing it has from the Note series is the stylus (which has actually improved) and other than that, it is basically a blown up S6.
Hoping to upgrade from a note 3. I love my note 3! But I've been leaning towards phones that give it that "premium" feel but I hate paying so much money for a phone that doesn't have SD card slot. Is it worth getting the note 5? Or should I get the note 4 instead?
I'm trying to decide to buy between note 4 or 5. It's worth it to spend the extra money to buy note 5? From your video it seems like note 4 is a better buy. I appreciate your advice.
Disappointing, the note line is supposed to be the power user device from Samsung. Removing the expandable storage and battery from what is supposed to be the power device is just basically making a larger version of the S6, which isn't what the note crowd is after
I was holding on to my GS3 waiting for the Note 5 to be released, but now it seems I might just go LG from here on out. LG if you're listening, don't stop with the beautiful removable leather backs. Those are a thing.
I can understand using a case if it was a shitty plastic phone but I wouldn't want to use one with a genuine leather back. Those just look lovely and prive you can use premium material and not sacrifice a removable battery.
i had been waiting to see the note 5's size hoping they'd make it a bit bigger than my note 4 but ugggggh they made it a wiiiii bit smaller than my note 4 ...ill waitt to see the note 6 hopefully they make it huge:)
i have an iPhone 5s and i love it but i wanted the note 4 since it came out, now i dont know if i should buy the note 5 or the note 4…i hate the fact that it dosent have a removable battery and microsd …also the note 4 will be cheaper rigth? what do you guys recomend? (sorry for my english)
What im confused about, is why take away the IR blaster??? that was awesome. Secondly, why take away removable back cover, the back cover can easily be duplicated with a shiny plastic back cover and look exactly the same, it would be less fragile and interchangeable if ever broken. I never understood why companies took stuff away.
Do you guys think that we might receive similar software layout and ability to write on screen after takng pen out, with future updates? i like that s pen layout..
I'm happy with my note 5 I don't need a removable backing or extra sd, it's all on opinion... I think both of these phones are beasts in their departments... I'm more of a camera and physical design person. So I'm happy :)
Upgraded Internals? It has a smaller battery. It lacks expansion. The note was supposed to be a power user's phone, and now it's just an iPhone 6 Plus with a stylus.
Honestly I am with Samsung since Samsung Galaxy S the first edition, last year in december bought the note 4, its awesome, but note5 and s6 are bs really expected more. Gonna change to iPhone in a couple of months, because the other Androids are just not my type, was with Samsung so many years.
Though I'm not that impressed. I'm glad to see Samsung dial back a whole lot. Brief, concise presentation, focus on the little things. No jarring gimmicks. No overboard spec boasting. not a whole lot will agree but I like the direction Samsung is taking. A simpler Samsung.
I have no idea what people are complaining about, the Note 5 is a big step up compared to many flagships this year. I do miss the expandable storage, and the removable battery. Then again, the comments before state truth, you can charge your phone anywhere and cloud storage isn't bad anyway. People are just afraid of change and thats what technology is doing everyday. I have the Galaxy S6 edge and I couldn't of chose a better phone. Note 5 is next on my list. Everyone just needs to deal with how technology is changing weather we like it or not!
The glass back on the Note 5 isn't appealing to me. I would much rather have the plastic removable back because I always keep my Note 4 in an Otterbox defender. I only take the phone out to wipe it down once a month or so. Then it goes right back in the case.
Its a galaxy s6 with a s pen, where is the note? It was suposed to be a power horse, swap bateries if you need, put 128 gb sd cards to have extreme capacities, where is the point of that? That is not a note, that is a bigger iphone 4 with a stick in its ass
On point my friend, on point.
Themoigt I'm going to stick with my note 4!
Themoigt -- Agree in every single word
Lel bigger iphone4 my ass! If it was Apple it wouldn't even put 4gb of ram and the latest tech into it.
if I wanted an iPhone, I would've gotten an iPhone years ago
Yes. I buy note 4 with discount price rather than full price for this note 5.
FreakyShirley thats what im going to do
***** Not really.

It's like computers, a 980ti won't make minecraft more enjoyable than a 970.
+Shima0080 thats what I just did. XD. I was just waiting to see if the note 5 would fuck up, like it did.
same for me
bought a note 4 saturday at tmobile only $545 now
The Note 5 now makes me want to get the Note 4
agreed
Go get it, its calling your name! haha
true
agreed, is a back step, the battery is too small, fuck the fast charge
JSantana319 I have the Note 4 since it came out, and I think I'll be holding onto it for a few years.
design on the Note 4 is way better than on the Note 5 point blank!
perhaps they will get it right on the Note 6. for now I'll stay with my Note 4 :)
same here bro, don't know why they took out the iR blaster
Milton Williams I didn't notice that! That's even worst
Milton Williams LOL they did? My god.. another point for not buying the note 5. I use the IRB on my phone ALL the time. They really fucked up this year.
i will keep my note 4 too
Guys install custom rom on Note 4 and overclocked it. Will better than note 5!

+BEATTOTHEWINX1 Nope he's not kidding . The IR blaster is gone
+Milton Williams what is the iR blaster?
+Mohammad Al Amri it's the sensor on top that turn the Note 4 into a TV remote
Same here.
note 4 > note 5

since samsung just launch the sad Galaxy note 5.... i really needed the micro sd....
Galaxy note 4 should be cheap right??
Not as cheap as you think but still better in my opinion.
James Foo I have the Note 4 right now and i would never trade it for a Note 5,
sadly the evolution of ram, newer software and processor is better overall but no micro sd zzz
Osama Bin Laden does your note 4 lag as of now?? cause most Samsung phones lag after a year or two....I used s1 and am using s3 now(but 1gb ram, cant be helped)
James Foo I've got this one like erm 6 months now and it's still running really smooth
Thank you AA for the quick look!
the software looks like something you would find on an after market Chinese phone
Mahdhi Rahman your so fucking right..... its disgusting it looks so cheap.. wtf samsung
Yeah you're right it looks way to cheap for the bulging price for a "premium phone" I'd rather have the note 4
Wtf
I didn't say it was cheap I said the software looked funny, I actually think the phone looks even more premium
Mahdhi Rahman You can change out the entire Home Screen if you want, you know this right? Unlike Iphone I have a 3d Home Screen called Next and it blows any other phone out of the water with functionality.
wow fast video. exactly what I wanted to see. thank you

are you joking?

Why do you put dots on your sentence?
It symbolizes a "pause" in the sentence.
TechLeatherCraft Unecessary in this case, you type like most Indians do on Facebook etc
Hmm, well, I am Indian. Better stick with the stereotype. Wouldn't want to disappoint.
TechLeatherCraft Lol I'm Indian too but we're using the inglish language, no point in using dots in sentences like this,it just breaks the flow
Wow, really loving the look of the 5. The smaller bezels of the 5 really make a difference.
Note 4 users who dont want to upgrade ..like this comment
It may be a small jump form the Note 4 but I am coming form the Note 3 so I expect a nice upgrade. I will really miss my IR blaster though.
It is not a Note 5. It's just a bigger Galaxy S6 with a stick its ass. :-/

I certainly won't be buying.
I have lost my faith in Samsung.
awwwwwwwwww boooooohooooooooooooo
Lewis Kelly as in the company as a whole, are you selling stock in them over this? Cool story bro!
Andrew Kim Fuck off, I was only expressing my opinion.
Edizzle I am actually, so stick it.
Havent checked out you guys in a while
like the new intro!
Why is the note 4 better? This makes no sense!
Miguel Angel Cadavid Parra cos we don't an iphone with a stylus!
Eddie Ell It is not like an iphone though...
+HORIZONx720 👍😑
If they don't fix it next year, then I am really quitting Samsung products.
iEcosanHD Oh, and I am upgrading from my S3 to Note 4 snapdragon, flash an AOSP ROM and it should go great. :D
iEcosanHD Why wait they're not changing so you might as well migrate somewhere else.
this is sooo bad....I can't believe they took away the SD card.....note 4 is a lot better.
yes, a glitchy, slow, ram-hogging Note 4 is better than a powerful, futureproof, fast note 5 all because of the removal of the sd card slot
Being a business owner, it's good to have things on the cloud such as google drive so you can access them on a computer or tablet very easily
+Andrew Kim So will the Note 5 after a couple of months
Sadly, the rumors about a 4100 mAh juicer in the Note5 didn't materialize
which alternatives with a stylos are about to be released?
Samsung ruined the note lineup now omg wtf they are thinking 3000mah battery and 64gb storage.
No sd card support either 'facepalm'
saleh baker Still offers longer battery life than its predecessor.
+TheMusketITuckedIt lol no it does not
Differently from the most vocal audiences I quite like the Note, it looks to be an amazing phone - though I do agree that the built in storage is a bit tiny (though I don't think expandable storage is necessary, they just needed more built in). I guess the small battery could mean that the battery-life could be a possible problem...
Note 4 is way better and looks better.
the note 5 looks cheap
Preston White hahaha it appears to the result of many fine alcoholic beverages.
The note 4 doesn't look better.
+Ted E Bear I love my note 4
+Ted E Bear Note 5 looks and feels way better in the hand, but I prefer Note 4 due to removable battery and microsd card slot.
the note 4 looks better to me
Hi Android Authority, what colour is this note 5 you are using for comparism with note 4?
Note 4 > Note 5
EXACTLY
its perfect. i got the note 4 f the note 5. note 3 sucked to me. i seen the small improvements they made in the 4 and i love it. samsung fell for all the nonsense about cheap materials etc and thats when they lost...apple will reign supreme cause of this iphone type phone they released smh guess i'll go somewhere else in 2years...maybe Lg idk
+William Mangus they're going back to removable battery starting with the s7 this January
Coregame3 lets hope so
Man even the galaxy pocket (2011) is still on internet
Still got Note 3 and i am very happy with it .Gonna stick to it and wait for note 6 .
horrible decision Samsung horrible decision..
I just don't get why they would make the battery smaller if they are going to make it non-removable. Aside from the slimmer bezel, I think the Note 4 actually looks better with it's polished angular chamfer and subtle horizontal lines on the front face.
Its kinda the same shit
adem No its worse.
adem it is worse
I'm thinking the new nexus 6 or motto x 2015
Nissan U. How is it worse when it performs way better overall lol
TheMusketITuckedIt because no removable battery that the note was famous for. Now barely anyone makes a removable battery phone.
still going to get the note 4 but one thing that annoys me is that LG made a proper genuine leather back cover but the previous notes couldnt

did they take out the sidebar? I can't find out how to get to it.:( I used that all the time!
So the only real major improvements are s pen related? Was thinking of upgrading from my note 3 to this. Maybe not..
wow, they made the bezels even smaller. I freaking love it!
i still have a note and its 2018 and i want to upgrade to note5...does samsung still accept my upgrade?...and how much do you think it will cost...
For the NOTE 6 hopefully they go back to expandable storage, and being able to swap the battery. I will be sticking with my NOTE 4
Will the note 4 ever be upgraded to the note 5's software and android marshmellow?
I have the 5s, is the note 4 a good android phone to start on? While being better than the 5s?
Was looking for an upgrade from my Note 2, note 4 might just have the edge and I'm sure after rooting the phone it should be possible to import extra features present on the Note 5 that are really nice using the s pen. I read it somewhere, yes, note 4 will sell more...
I loved Galaxy note series when they had swappable batteries and sd cards. I was waiting for note 5 but now gonna buy note 4.
when i found out that samsung will be releasing note 5, i was kinda worried bcos i just got my note 4. but after reading/watching the specs, i regret nothing! the reason why i bought a note 4 is bcos of its removable back and SD card slot. my dad wanted me to buy either an iphone 6/6+ or the s6/s6 edge but i insisted on buying the note 4.
I have the Samsung Gear VR, will I be able to use the Note 5 in it?
So we got a Galaxy S6 plus... When are they unveiling the Note 5 again?
They still have action memo AND SNote??? Samsung said they merged these months ago with Android 5.0
Even though I love the Note 5, Samsung may as well call it the S6+ because the only thing it has from the Note series is the stylus (which has actually improved) and other than that, it is basically a blown up S6.
Simple question would the note 5s s pen fit in the note 4? That would be awesome
what are the white marks on the top and bottom edge of the note 4?
Hoping to upgrade from a note 3. I love my note 3! But I've been leaning towards phones that give it that "premium" feel but I hate paying so much money for a phone that doesn't have SD card slot. Is it worth getting the note 5? Or should I get the note 4 instead?
I want to upgrade my s4 but I don't know what to get.
I think I'm going to get Note 5 because I don't use sd card and I never removed the battery.
missShoshoo Good choice you won't be displeased.
TheMusketITuckedIt
It been 10 days since I bought Note 5 and I'm in love with it.
When people on RUclips comments dislike a phone, that basically means it will sell pretty well.
I would like to see the new S-pen functionality made available on the Note 4, Being able to write on screen lock would come in handy.
jhenry248 Wow that's a cool feature, I can see how it can be of use.
I'm trying to decide to buy between note 4 or 5. It's worth it to spend the extra money to buy note 5? From your video it seems like note 4 is a better buy. I appreciate your advice.
Note 5 or wait til next year
Thanks.
Don't get not 7 it's explodes
I meant Not 7
I meant note 7
Disappointing, the note line is supposed to be the power user device from Samsung. Removing the expandable storage and battery from what is supposed to be the power device is just basically making a larger version of the S6, which isn't what the note crowd is after
I was holding on to my GS3 waiting for the Note 5 to be released, but now it seems I might just go LG from here on out. LG if you're listening, don't stop with the beautiful removable leather backs. Those are a thing.
iReturnV1deotapes Mines been in a case the entire life. Sorry you don't use a case.
I can understand using a case if it was a shitty plastic phone but I wouldn't want to use one with a genuine leather back. Those just look lovely and prive you can use premium material and not sacrifice a removable battery.
I like a majority of the changes, but I will miss the IR blaster. I love controlling TVs at sports bars and in other public places with my phone.
i had been waiting to see the note 5's size hoping they'd make it a bit bigger than my note 4 but ugggggh they made it a wiiiii bit smaller than my note 4 ...ill waitt to see the note 6 hopefully they make it huge:)
Why must android lollipop look different on older Samsung products? Happened with the Galaxy S5 too. It's just confusing.
Thank you! I was wondering that too
It's touchwiz, Samsung's ugly skin they place on top of stock android.
Ragnar Achilles Yeah. But why can't they make the S4 as and S5 lollipop touchwiz update look the same? They need to update the look with the OS
Alex Hadfield So you feel compelled to buy the next phone because it changes the software.
Samsung just released couple of days ago A 8 with dual sim pin
you can used both way
i have an iPhone 5s and i love it but i wanted the note 4 since it came out, now i dont know if i should buy the note 5 or the note 4…i hate the fact that it dosent have a removable battery and microsd …also the note 4 will be cheaper rigth? what do you guys recomend? (sorry for my english)
What im confused about, is why take away the IR blaster??? that was awesome. Secondly, why take away removable back cover, the back cover can easily be duplicated with a shiny plastic back cover and look exactly the same, it would be less fragile and interchangeable if ever broken. I never understood why companies took stuff away.
Do you guys think that we might receive similar software layout and ability to write on screen after takng pen out, with future updates? i like that s pen layout..
Why are the phone's clocks different? One is 3 hours ahead of the other
Does it really matter? Lol
i prefer the backing on the 4, the glass looks like a massive fingerprint magnet and makes it look like it would be slippery.
Why the hell isnt it being released in the uk this year?
I'm happy with my note 5 I don't need a removable backing or extra sd, it's all on opinion... I think both of these phones are beasts in their departments... I'm more of a camera and physical design person. So I'm happy :)
6:30 he called the phone the s5
what do you think is better the note 5 or the note 4
Upgraded Internals? It has a smaller battery. It lacks expansion. The note was supposed to be a power user's phone, and now it's just an iPhone 6 Plus with a stylus.
What's a good rugged waterproof case for the 4?
Note 5's camera front/rear is so flipping goood, the best camera for smartphone atm, even better than s6's camera
Samsung is gonna learn a lot from the S6 and Note 5 sales.
The glass back on the Note 5 isn't appealing to me. I would much rather have the plastic removable back because I always keep my Note 4 in an Otterbox defender. I only take the phone out to wipe it down once a month or so. Then it goes right back in the case.
Keeping my Note 4! I'll buy more accessories for it now being as I'm keeping it until the Note 6 or further.
