A up close look at Union Pacific Big boy 4023 and DDA40X 6900. These units are placed atop Lauritzen Gardens near the Missouri River heading West to enter Nebraska. They were placed here to show of the off the power and history of the Union Pacific railroad and the historical influence it has brought Omaha, being the headquarter city of the company and the state of Nebraska. Let alone the influence it has had on the country’s growth and expansion

Very impressive observation tour of two incredible and historic locomotives, the Union Pacific rr had wonderful, massive and giant examples of locomotives during both the steam era and the earlier stage of the diesel era.
