Gui Santos had the best Plus minus in the game, super efective in the two sides, great game a lot energy, good to see Ker giving the young core oportunity.
This was Klay's best game in a minute. He didn't score but 8 points but he had 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. Moreover, he played "team" ball knowing he can help the team in other ways when he's not having a good shooting night.
Funny how Klay's best game comes when he does nothing but play team ball lol. If he's not the second option scorer he should be benched or traded.
@@oreajay3882 Nope, you are dead wrong. If you knew "anything" about basketball you'd know that aging players have always had to readjust their game. For example, James Harden used to be a primary scorer. Now he's the 3rd option on the Clippers. But he's readjusted his game to be a valuable member of that team.
The team wins when klay doesn't just chuck up horrible shots and actually assists and brings the ball in the paint. Honestly he should be traded because there are many players who can replace his role. Klay just can't be consistent and reliable anymore.

Gui Santos needs more minutes. He has a lot of energy and defends well. Klay definitely needs to start on the bench.

I saw the whole game. When Klay went out the defensive intensity picked up and the momentum shifted. More than his shooting it's on the defensive end where the damage is done. It was a joy to watch five guys closing out the game - Podz, Gui Santos, Kuminga, Green, and Curry - bust their butts off to chase down rebounds and loose balls.
Santos is a good player. He was with the Braizl national team for a few years.
Except for those two 3 pointers his man made while he was sagging off.

Crazy how Brandin has a double double damn near every game. He's either crashing the boards like crazy, or dishing out assists. Moody also needs consistent minutes. The biggest problem is that Kerr doesnt seem to know that young guys need to play to develop. Watching from the bench wont help anyone. Also, he plays garbage players like Ty Jerome, Anthony Lamb, and Cory Joseph way to much.

Note that someone told Klay NOT TO TAKE MANY SHOTS. He only tried 9 attempts (missed all 3 three point attempts) compared to 19 attempts last game (where he shot only 2 of 17 three pointers). This is why Warriors won, because 10 other shot attempts went to others on the team. Simple math. As long as Klay plays less minutes and shoots 9 or less shots, Warriors will win. Stop starting Klay and Warriors return to champion status. Pretty much EVERYONE is better than Klay now. Look, the opposing teams know Klay is now damaged goods and they taunt him to take the threes as they know he is shooting around just 25% from threes now. With Wiggins out, the Warriors are a better team and Warriors would also be better if Klays doesn't play at all. If Klay doesn't start, Warriors have so much better defense. Trayce Jackson-Davis at 6'9 should be a starter to replace Klay to give the defense, board coverage, and height the Warriors need. If more fans speak out and point out that Klay is now detrimental to the Warriors team success, then KERR will stop starting Klay.

Getting that much love and admiration in another teams arena the way Steph does around the entire league is insanity...never seen anything like it. Kerr is so hard headed with new players, always reluctant on giving them a chance, they could get 15 +/- for 8 games straight, or double double's with consistency and yet he still would be biased as hell with them, it's absurd.
True, very true, but this is an odd game to mention it, as he actually played the young guys significant minutes, rather than tanking the game by giving big minutes to Cojo, Saric, or giving Klay 36+ minutes while DNPing the young athletic hungry players (his usual 'winning' formula).

Needs
- a 3 and D Guard starter can reliably drop 15, stretch the floor and play great defense (Wish it could be Moody, but he still have a ways to go
- a Big that can lock the paint and be aggressive (Sorry Looney, we need more athleticism, and TJD is still too young/inexperienced)
Adjustments
- Klay to come off the bench and play in limited minutes (That's where he'd fit best)
- If we keep wiggs he comes off the bench
The energy level with pods, kuminga, dray, curry, gui is what we need. So much hustle.
Not losing sleep over Klay's time on the bench 🔥🔥🔥
Klay is quickly losing a lot of fans (me included), not just with his horrid shooting, but with his next level pouting when a few of his minutes go to other players who are playing better. That last dunk by Kuminga that pretty much sealed the game had the entire team off the bench cheering -- except for Klay who is sitting on the bench wallowing in his fee fees. I applaud Kerr for actually playing younger more energetic players significant minutes (for a change) and hope it continues, and if Klay is going to end his career thinking he is the same player he was 5 years ago (and pre-injury), he definitely doesn't deserve and shouldn't get another contract. If he does, as a GS fan, it will be painful to watch him tank the team for the next 3-4 years with awful shooting, poor defense, and next level team chemistry ruining pouting when he doesn't get 36 minutes and 20 shot attempts every game.
Kuminga is the only good thing that happen in Golden State this year, he should have a bright future

Klay needs to learn how to make his younger teammates better at this stage in his career. If his shot isn’t there, be effective in other ways like a decoy or passer. Klay needs to learn this, his presence and IQ are still valuable, if he lost athleticism in his game. He needs to learn how to set other people up for shots and cuts and stuff. Even Duncan, Manu & Tony lost a step but had Kawhi (Kuminga) that learned from them. It’s time for Klay & Loon to pass the torch ! And become mentors for the young guys who clearly have talent and can help us get back to championship contention if we just get rid of Wiggs contract!!! And get some damn SIZE!!!!
The Nuggets/Bucks have been coming since 2019 even when KD was still here. We’re not beating them until we get bigger down low to counter clear GOATS like Jokic, and Giannis. Klay Thompson needs to come off the bench. Jonathan Kuminga needs to stay in the starting lineup. GS needs to get rid of all these off brand point guards and trade for some size in the paint if they wanna be there in the end. Draymond can only do so much alone down low. Looney is a liability offensively and hes not athletic AT ALL GOODNESS. Glad to get Moses back. Great game Steph. Podz is replaceable, just a less athletic Mac McClung in my opinion.
