Can you ask the question:
"If Putin announced that the war with Ukraine must end and Russia should pull its troops out of Ukraine, would you support another candidate in the next presidential elections who supported continuing the war and keeping all the territory its annexed?"
Or
"Would you support the war to continue even if Putin announced that it was in Russia's best interest to seek peace with Ukraine and make concessions, such as giving some or all of the territory back to Ukraine or allowing Ukraine to join NATO?"
I'm really curious about whether the Russians who say they support the war would continue to do so even if Putin and the government were now against it?
Everyone's brainwashed, you think you aren't? Think again 🧠💆😵💫🥳
Those that have the currage to speak out negativly. Can you atleast blur their eyes/face?
I am curious about something as I'm a person with no connections to neither Ukraine nor Russia. Do russians or ukraineans even know why this war is even taking place?
Some people in your videos seem to think the war was "necessary", but what for? What's the historic reason behind this? Even if it's used as a facade.
My country, Romania, has lots of lost territories that are now part of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and the entirety of Moldova which was once fully Romanian territory, but that doesn't make us think of warmongering the neighbouring nations.
Even with the propaganda and the brainwashing, what excuse could be justifiable enough to be thinking positively of war, especially when there is a precedent that brought nothing good (USSR)?

@TFactory The Nazis only had 33% of the votes. When Hitler became Richkansler it was to late. In the beginning he gave people hope with the changes in the economy and the German people acted as the Russians do today and slowly but surely Germany turned into a police state. That’s why we in the West who know how the history and that nothing will stop Putin but force is supporting Ukraine and will do that until the war is over and Putin is gone. We will hold our politicians responsible to uphold that support or we will replace those politicians very quickly. This is a question of the survival of democracy and a very simple one to answer - better suffer a little today and support Ukraine then to let Russia have its way and suffer much more tomorrow! The real suffering is what the Ukrainians are going thru and my heart bleed every day for them and I wish I was 20 years younger so I could take up arms and fight alongside them. Now I support them what I can and hope to do more when the war is over and they need help to rebuild their country! Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava! 🇺🇦

"i very rarely watch television, but let me tell you everything they say on it"
Not all the pro-war citizens actually watch TV or even support Putin's regime. It's a complex geopolitical and culturological question, as many Russians still have an imperialist mindset because Russia in any forms has been an empire since, probably, Ivan the Great (officially since Peter the Great). And such things as banning of Russian language for native speakers ant total Ukrainization of the territories that had been Russian for centuries leads to a major resentment.

1. Spec op being a necessity, Ukraine was a mostly democratic country showing no agression towards Russia.
2.When asks about what community says that, he asks whether it's the LGBTQ community, showing he's gobbled up the russian propaganda saying that western politics has been taken over by woke queer people in almost a sort of dictatorship, which of course is completely false.
3. He also says the US/West has many problems, implying that the US is as bad or worse than Russia, and therefore should keep out of their business. While we do have some problems here, we do also still have free speech (no one has to be afraid like can be seen in this video), we are waaayyy more democratic than Russia, we don't punish and lock up people for speaking up against the system. And last but not least: We don't randomly invade our neighbouring by now democratic countries just because we're loosing political influence over them, killing tens of thousands of their and even more of our own men, only to then make up a sketchy ass excuse for it.

bring Russia back on the "right track" - you understand that there are a lot of people with washed brains in all countries, right? Even this poll can be considered brainwashing to some extent, because the dude polled people aged 40 to 80, and this generation that grew up during the Cold War, naturally many people in this age support the war. Although this information cannot be considered objective, do you understand that? Imagine there are 100 people in front of you. You asked 10 of them: "Do you like apple juice?" 9 of them answerded no. And the remaining 91 would answer yes. It's exactly the same here: the dude interviewed a very small number of people of a certain age, most of them answered as he possibly planned, and now many viewers of this video now believe that almost all Russians are like that. It should be privately owned by the Putin cause He can't trust his little gang completely.

Maybe you should disguise the faces of the people (or at least the places) to protect them.
I liked the answer, "how could I know if I'm brainwashed...?"
"People with the "wrong" answers could be prosecuted for their answers"
Kind of like in US, right?
@@J--12 No. I'm American and I don't support a lot of what my country is like, but we do indeed have a strong enforcement of the first amendment, so strong that you can be very discriminatory towards others and either get away with it or have someone else call you out on your behavior. You can also say anything you want regarding the country. You can be as political as possible and yell out "I hate the US" with no consequences besides people glaring at you or vocally disagreeing with you. It is not illegal at all to voice your opinions here and you won't get into any legal trouble. You'll only get shut down by people who strongly disagree with you, or worse, maybe you'll get shot which is rare but still happens. I think that's why you replied what you did. Cancel culture is very prevalent here, but it doesn't truly stop people from saying what they want to.

A very intelligent response from an old lady at 7:39.
Once again, great work. Stay safe.
Stay safe dear Daniil 🙏
In a democracy it is difficult to hide problems. And, to solve problems you have to first identify them. In autocracies problems are what the gov says they are, and where they are (mostly elsewhere). Which system do you think solves more issues?
The advertisement for the website was perfect. I think the best way I have ever seen someone advertise something
Does that first chap in the hood (who DEFINITELY has not been brainwashed and has his ‘own opinions’) really believe that Ukraine was about to invade Russia 🤣🤪
kudos to the old lady at 6:54 was really impressed and pleasantly surprised to see there are older folk in Russia who still use their heads.
I always look forward to the 1420 videos. I am an American who grew up in the 60's living around the world and across the USA.
I appreciate the honesty of your channel.
Always a thumbs up 👍
It's interesting you mentioned 60's.What was your opinion back then about the American invasion of Vietnam? Did you feel that was a necessary thing?
Can I ask you a question? Do you think your generation in the US is similar to your peers in Russia?
TORNADOMAN considering all the countries that the USSR had invaded and the 100 million people killed or starved to death under Communism between China, Russia and Cambodia. It probably was the right thing to do. Personally, I would have let them self-destruct. The USA is trying to self-destruct now.

This is what a nation without 1st amendment protections for speech looks like. Daniil, you're a brave man and Russia needs more people like you. Good luck from America 🫡
Thank you 1420. The young guys at the end gave me hope. Switched on.

I have seen many of the videos on this channel. I really appreciate your work. You ask relevant and interesting questions from a european’s perspective…
Also, it hits me that most respondents answer your questions politely.
Woman at 7:40 keeps it very real, some people are zombified others too scared to say what they really think
Interesting video. Having watched loads of your videos, this one question about propaganda seemed to really fire people up in their responses. As if it is a question that they have already asked themselves. Thanks for the hard work Daniil.
I did feel sorry for the woman that hadn't heard from her sister, but there was a smile at the fact that it was the Russians that have stopped her talking to her by blowing up anything they couldn't fit on the back of a truck when they left.

@@Огоньплей Thats because through out the history thats all the russians/soviets (all the same imo) ever did. Loot Pillage and rape. My grandma lived through it to tell the tale.
In my own country we have plenty of russians, most atfter living here for ~20-30+ years refuse to speak the local language out of spite, some are thugs that will cause trouble, had on quite a few ocassions heard them saying that they will jump on the russia's side to take over baltic's if russia comes here. Virtually all the russians who stop to talk, seen uninterested in the people of the outside world and this is reflected in their introspective political views and their acceptance of their governments actions.

As an American, I love the work you do, you inspire me to do the same.
This guy is 100% going to go “missing.”
Someday you should ask the question how in the world would Ukraine had attacked Russia first or even could have planed to do so if the only thing which keeps Ukraine above water right now is the constant delivery of new weapons from the west ? With what might and justification axactly would that have even be possible ? Everyone who would answer with nuclear strikes and so on is delirious.
well said. And everyone ( well those who can think ) understands that a pretext to start a "special military operation" because Ukraine was a military threat is nothing more then a delusional B.S. of an old demented idiot and his goons.
As bad as this sh1tshow is...the good thing to come out of it is that russia has shown its cards and its face. Entire world has seen that its army is NOTHING like what everyone was thinking it was. All that hype is gone and everyone sees that their army is NOT capable to wage a modern conventional war. All the world has seen what are the true intentions of the russian government ( putin really ) and just how far he/they would go to try to "force" Ukraine to submission. All the world has seen the attacks on just pure civilian infrastructure, all the atrocities that russian armies have committed and countless of war crimes.
I hope that this war becomes the end of russian federation as its stand today. NOT the russia as a nation, or its people, but the government.
This sick diseased political structure has run its course and its time for it to end.
When that regime falls, like a heap of garbage that was not put in a bag on time, the support for putin and people around him will evaporate.
Probably there will be an internal struggle inside, a bloody struggle, maybe even a revolution. Hopefully in the process other bastards like putin ( and there are quite a few like him or worse ) eat each other and kill off each other and "self-cleanse" the country from that parasitic ideology,

@@scaryrainbow3664 I actually don't think it would have even occurred to anyone to invade russia before. Now that they've shown themselves to be a bit weaker than most people imagined, I wonder if anyone will? I doubt it will be the Ukrainians though. I wonder why it's always the biggest and most powerful countries that seem so paranoid? Kind of reminds me of the way I hear of Americans saying stuff like "they're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here".
