@@Shak-MDyour handwriting really works well with such a nib. I usually print in a small script so I’ll mostly enjoy my .6 stub and Journaler nib, but really enjoyed watching your pens slide across the page as if doing ballet (Actually better )I’m not really a ballet guy. Have a great weekend.
Very enjoyable comparison video, once again! Your Pilot FA #15 nib is amazing, great modification. I did the same with my Pilot FA SEF to get the EEF lines but this is much better with the quick snap back. I am thinking about the Pilot Custom Heritage 912 FA #10 for its very soft flex but not sure anymore. 😂 I enjoyed your MB Calligraphy Flexible the most with your writing style. The Cross flex is very impressive and looks most like a vintage nib (but maybe too soft for the amount of responsiveness … or maybe just a little too wet for me?). Thanks and have a great weekend!
Thank you Dimitri. These are truly creams of the crop. As for the Crossflex, indeed it is pretty steady and awesome for daily use. You can press a bit for more ink, or press more for line variation. Nothing else is like it. It is a better overall flex nib than all others. It is not soft like mag600. Maybe it can be modified for thinner lines, but will likely affect its durability. I think every Enthusiastic Fountainier [I should change my channel name to that ]should try that. I have two variations of crossflex, and I'll be sure to let you try both when we meet. FA 10 is great pen. Will need more grinding. Mine is needle pointed by myself 😀 . It is on a loan with one of fountainniers in Toronto. Have a great weekend.

Congrats for your comparison video !!! I have a LOI MZG (LeonardoOfficina🇮🇹) with an amazing elastic nib 14k with ebonite feeder. The nib it's hard but very good for SLOW calligraphic moments. It's possible for you to compare also this pen ?
Thanks! I have the steel "Elastic" nib from Leonardo. That is not a flex nib. So, it does not fit this catalog. It is great for this liking some bounce. I found the titanium nibs on Leonardo more pleasant to write with. I do want to try the gold "elastic" nib, though. But I'd be careful how much I press it down as it is not meant to flex per se.
MAN, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT REVIEW IF U WOULD HAVE INCLUDED THE FPR 14K UF ! I ASSURE U THE 14K BEATS THE CROSSFLEX ! OR AT LEAST IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT OPONENT. IN ADDITION THE FPR NIB IS EASY TO GET ;)
Great point. I do have the FPR, and indeed did a previous comp with a slightly different and un-tuned regalia and Mag 600. Additionally, the slit goes far up and the side cuts are deep. While great at flexing, and generous flow, the overall quality of the nib is very sub-par in my opinion. This may only be the case for me, because I use my flexes DAIL. THE FPR was ruined in a month. Now it is permanently out of alignment, and the minimum line it gets is at least a B or BB. Very nice flex though. May need lighter touch to last longer.
In this video, I literally compared the [imo] best flexes I personally own.....and how I arrived to the decision was that these four are always in my pocket. 😀 FPR never made it into my pocket 😀
Nib.lab modify a Jinhao #8 I managed to ge one before he stoped. It's a beautiful flex wirter and couldn't be more happy with it. It's one of my favorite. The CrossFlex looks interesting. At some point I do need to have my FA on my 823 ground . Thank you for the comparison.

I really like REgalia nib. Though all of these make great daily writers.

Very nice pens. The thin line is a little too fat in all of them (less on the MBand the FA). for being exceptional or dip-pen like.
You are right. Nothing quite compares to a good dip pen. Mag 600 is okay, but the tines get out of sorts easily.

Let me know if you'd like to try my ground FA. I did ground it myself to much finer. I'd like to see what you think 😀
