My college buddy was in the Army prior to going to college on the GI Bill. He actually did go through Ranger school. He did the Airborne school. Then went ahead and did the SERE training as he was planning to go legit special operations after working directly with the Delta Force (not a member of). He had gear, pictures, and an explosion wound to prove it. He didnt mind talking about it and telling stories, but it was never an advertising point. He never ran around telling people just because. If it came up in conversation he would go with it, but otherwise he was not shouting it.
I met a guy that talked about being a marine and knowing karate and being a POW. He talked about it a lot. I hung around him because he was a friend of a friend. I eventually fought with this guy. It was like fighting an 8th grader. Almost all mouth.

For a person to join a gang like the Crips and the Bloods, you have to be "beat in" (I'm not too sure if it's the Crips or the Bloods, but some gangs do the this initiation). This is when the gang members literally beat up the person who wants to join for a predetermined amount of time. These are organizations you are contending with as a police officer.
I am sorry to say this, but as police officers the only advantage you have is numbers, thousands of dollars of equipment and expensive training. The training in hand to hand combat is lacking. Criteria to be a cop is pretty much be able bodied and not have a criminal record. The criteria to be a part of a few of the gangs I seen is being able to hold your own in a fight. This is an issue that has to be addressed. I think addressing this issue will lower shooting lawsuits.

And that aside, the test didn't assert that she wasn't African, it literally just stated that the farthest traceable woman (mother's mother's mother's, etc - not even counting aunts or other female relatives or lines of her family tree) wasn't of African decent whatsoever. And she lost it. Like... She didn't even have the brain cells to read what the test was actually testing for and how before making herself look absolutely ridiculous.
Just goes to show you, even with a relatively small internet presence, you can still be found and brought to justice, 10/10 service.

Before Nintendo invented Mario, Italians were just spaghetti and meatball loving chefs with outrageously spontaneous hand gestures in movies. Now we are big fat mustachioed plumbers that like pizza (which isn't even Italian). 30 years ago, black guys were just the cool kids that were great at basketball, loved fried chicken, and made all the best handshakes. Now the stereotype is thug life no respect hooligans that will break the law, loot your store, and scream at you for being white. This doesn't make anyone racist, but it changes the stereotype where people look at you and make judgements based on those stereotypes. We all do it naturally, it is part of our survival instinct.

Beady Eye most cops I know are giving more than our money’s worth. What these people fail to understand is many police departments are already underfunded yet they want to defund them. Defunding leads to poor training and well we already know what poor training can lead to. Just an example: I was making more money picking orders than my friend was serving as an law enforcement officer.
Peter Furlong exactly, remember a number of years back when a whole police department i think in Baltimore quit because their radios didn’t work, their guns were always jamming and they had to respond in their personal cars because the cruisers were all broken down and the department didn’t have running water and most of the cops didn’t have body armor or non lethal options and were severely underpaid. Those kind of problems will start popping up everywhere and will lead to more police problems not less because they have no other option and when the social workers they send to these incidents start dying at a skyrocketing rate they will have to bring the police back because any situation can become violent you don’t know what anyone is capable of. I went on a police ride along(which was cool as fuck) and had to deal with a guy with a mental illness and the guy was chill and didn’t really talk at all but that’s only a small amount of people who are in control or are medicated for their illness
B 1 I know about mentally ill people myself. Worked in a jail once and there was a guy who was mentally ill in there. Looked kinda upset one day so I asked if he needed to talk, but he said he was fine and nothing was bothering him. Five minutes later he was hanging himself, but luckily we were able to save his life. I gotta agree ride alongs are badass and it gave me a greater appreciation for law enforcement seeing all the bs calls they have to deal with alongside the actual serious stuff.
B 1 I just hope these social workers they’re going to hire have strong minds because they’re gonna need it with all the fucked up stuff their going to see. Perhaps then they’ll realize why law enforcement officers sometimes perform poorly in the line of duty. No telling how much of the stuff the have to deal with sticks with them and haunts them everyday.

God almighty, no. These fuckers have no idea what kind of scum our Leo's keep off the streets. If it wasn't for an officer being in the right place at the right time I would be dead (or in someone's basement) today. I keep bringing lunch to my local PD and I've brought breakfast a few times... I wish there was more I could do to help our officers during this. Unfortunately the FOP didn't endorse a Mayor candidate so no we have backwater trash about to take over the Mayor position... I fear for our PD. The whole city council is animalistic.
They essentially did this in baltimore a few years ago. The cops just sat in their cars because they were all afraid they would be charged with a crime if they tried to stop anyone. Criminals figured it out pretty quick and they went wild.
