Yeah you know why because Gustarov put in massive effort wrestling the whole time. His cardio is amazing but he never had OK in any serious trouble. If he could've inflicted more damage or had some serious close finishes,he would've won.
Defending a grappler especially with his body weight isn’t an easy thing. That’s when fighters gas out. Rae Yoon is just better conditioned fighter period.
He then went on and defeated Eddie Alvarez in less than 2 weeks.
Six years makes the difference :))

Gustarov did what he should've done when your seriously outclassed in striking. He lost because OK had such good defense that Gustarov couldn't really inflict much damage or threaten submissions. OK was wore the fuck out though. Gustarov is a Beast to wrestle like that the whole time and eat all those shots. He obviously lost though.

There are nany points on the body that can be attacked. Gafurov could've dislocated Ok's shoulder for example.
