I know this is a few Months old already . l live near this actual location and was wondering why it was North, South Flipped on the PDA ? All of the highway Marking are correct for North, South. But on the PDA it is flipped . Thanks Mike M.

So, this map is either upside down or DJ modding messed up what side of the river is what. West side should be IA. East side should be WI. If you pull a map of the area in real life, you can see it looks modeled correctly for that, but is labeled backwards on the signs. Not sure. I grew up only a couple hours away in IL to the south and have been through the area many times heading to La Crosse, WI farther north.
I think he must have been sailing south down the river when he decided to build the map, so yes the map is oriented south rather than north which is a bit confusing

Yes, yes, and more YES!!! This map was an absolute favourite of mine back in FS17. It was the most realistic, picturesque and groundbreaking map back then, and I have a feeling it'll be the same for this version. The bar for map making has been pushed even higher now!
One thing I like a lot about DJ moddings maps is how he manages to capture the vastness of USA so well. The other US maps are awesome but many feel small, whereas over there everything is just so big and far apart
That Stanley farm has a commodity shed. That's where they mix the feed. They store all different types of feed in there and drive the tmr mixer inside to fill it with a loader.

That red barn at the third(I think?) farm you checked out, where you thought there werent animals, that's a cow barn. You may have found that out later anyhow

Why is there a "Case International Harvester" banner on the wall of a John Deere dealership service bay...hmm? Where I live the two are intensely competitive.
The scales at the ethanol plant would be how you get paid in real life. Scale on the way in and again on the way out. Difference is the weight of the corn and they pay based off that.
Fantastically realistic looking map. I can see why it won’t be on the mod hub too many trademark business names for one thing. But that’s fine. Looking forward to the release. 👍🇨🇦
I am not sure if this appropriate but where van a person find that sukup grain bin setup with the dryer. I think it was on the stewart farm. It was with the 2 animal barns and tthe feed mixing barn

Played this on fs 19 the changes he made look great. Though still makes the map confusing since the top of map is not north. In real life Iowa should be on the left side of map. Still I will be downloading when available

This looks good I usually not big for US maps probably because I am from Sweden so have always love European style of farming but have not play for a long time, I thinking of play on this map try something new from my normal European small farming
for some reason, I cannot get amonia to work with any tool, the side dresser, sprayer or slurry tank. same error when trying to use CP that the toll needs to be filled. Is this a known mod conflict or some other error?
The FS17 version of this map and County line were the maps that got me hooked on farm sim. Sadly, the fs19 conversion of UMRV was not as good in my opinion. This version looks like it will be the best one yet.

Played a good while this map on fs17,think it was one of the best US map's then.But map like this, CountyLine and many other maps with large open landscapes,they take a massive hit because the Giants engine is so bad on distance rendering,everything is just a blurry green mess.That kill's the immersion big time,i really hope they come up with new engine for next release.
Shame this map is not on the in-game modhub. I play FS22 on GeForce NOW, so installing mods in folders in not an option for me. Hope it comes eventually.

Almost looks like the one farm yard I made on console. yes I had a gameing PC unfortunately it died and don't have funds ATM to fix bills come first but how I miss all the good maps kinda feel like console gets the boat with the way the giants testers are being to alot of the modders.
Srry to hear that man, I think it's more about the rules Sony and Microsoft have in place for consoles and the limitations they have in terms of performance, particularly the older gen consoles

Because of the detail, the fact it’s a 4x map, non licences brands, scripts to run things like the corn dryers, beer and wine production, and the fact it’s not being submitted to Giants for ModHub approval. I did a video on it a while ago ruclips.net/video/1HzgKGpVswI/видео.html
I think it won't happen until Giants stops supporting last-gen consoles. At the moment if you have a PS5 you are in essence playing a PS4 game on it they don't differentiate between old and new gen just now so have to work to the lowest common denominator 🙁

If you go thru the quonset on the starting farm you find the grain bins :)

These are built into the map but there are some grain bins with dryers out there, check out River Bottom Customs 👍
