- Michigan pastor Lorenzo Sewell addressed the 2024 Republican National Convention on Thursday, one month after former President Donald Trump visited his church in Detroit. "He came to the hood because he cares about average, everyday Americans," Sewell said.

I loved the message, but Ephesians 6:11 talks about putting on the armor of God. It is Joshua 1:9 that says to be strong and of good courage. Great word, that God is strong and mighty and he will do what He wants. Praise the Lord!

@@oldschool5 God is the ultimate authority over our lives. He gives life and takes it away in His timing, but he brings all things, good and bad and uses it for His glory. We will never know why Corey wasn't saved from the bullet, but we do know that Corey was a man of God and he made the ultimate sacrifice, that Jesus has said is the strongest form of love when you lay down your life for the ones you love, and that's what Corey done in his last moment here on earth. God called him home that day, and it is a mystery to us as to why. But it should never be used to question God. Only miracles come from God. God will comfort that family and Corey's legacy will live on in them.
