Came for hair stuff stayed for tea, more hair stuff, pearls, cute fluffy kitten, a lovely voice and even more haior magic. Can´t wait for more content. ^^
This is such a great video! Thank you for using me as your model, but more importantly: thank you for doing a video that makes me feel like I can do this style on my own!
I used to use flour for my hair powder and it was an absolute nightmare to wash out. Now I use white spray on hair color since it washes out of my hair a lot easier.
What a lovely hairstyle, I can't wait to try this! I've often been afraid that mid-century hairstyles all involve copious amounts of barrel curls which I don't like doing, but now I'm finally assured that some of those were actually rope braids, which I love doing!
THANKYOU! Finally something new that isn't a ridiculously huge Pompadour! I think Loepsie is the only other one to do a non-pompadour 18th.c hairstyle (though she has done her fair share of them too tbf). Everyone else seems to forget there's more than just huge hair haha! You made this very approachable and easy to follow. Looking forward to future content!
You are most welcome! There are so many wonderful hairstyles from the 1760s-1790s, I'm definitely making it my mission to show more of the options and variations for costumers and reenactors to wear!
BRILLIANT! I have become obsessed with the amazing rope braid crown styles on the Borgias, and after searching through so many tutorials of crown braids on little girls that did not have the look I was going for, tah dah! This is it!! Thank you so much.
It was really cool to see how you put this style together, especially after seeing the pics on instagram. You also made it look really approachable. You have a talent for tutorials like this.
Soooo good! I can’t WAIT for more tutorials 😃 Especially for medium length hair with bangs 😬 Not sure what to do with them but don’t want to grow them out…
Lovely tutorial! I need to try this. Do you have any tips for someone with finer hair to do this without extensions? I've got the length but my hair is way thinner then Taylor's.
❤❤❤ Truly beautiful, and very elegant, indeed... Blessings, Ms. Deborah J. Steele - 5/10/24

I’m so pleased you enjoyed it!
Your voice is so sweet and soothing ☺️ it’s really nice to hear your explanation next to seeing your pretty work!
PrettyShepherd - thank you so much!

It was a pleasure my dear!

It’s the Tasting History music!!!!

Yep, while you definitely see barrel curls and tete du mutton style curls alot in the 1760s, there are more options!

Molly C - Oh thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback!

Wow! So I’m not a hair person, but this really feels like something I could do. It’s a wonderful tutorial, and I can’t wait to see more!
Renee Starling - Yay! I’m so glad!
Great tutorial and super cute video complete with kitty cameos. Thank you so much for sharing. Looking forward to more like this one.
Ginger cats FTW!!
I LOVE this! It doesn't even seem entirely impossible for me to do. Thank you!
How many of us are going to do this hairstyle for the garden party now? :p
I'm gonna try it for the Francaise Dinner. 😊

When you twist the hair fluff out, or “pancake” the twist before you pin it down. I’m doing a video on how to do this style with finer hair soon!
I just tried doing this hairstyle on myself and lets just say I'm not Jenny La Fleur 😂
Where can è get that Bobby pin bracelet?
kohakuaiko - The bracelet magnet I’m wearing is from Nicholas French: nicholasfrench.com/product/nicholas-french-pin-ups/
@@jennylafleur Very spammy annoying link. Never got to even see the bracelet.
@@creativeplanetjanet - weird it worked fine before, try this link instead!
