Iron Within, I'am Alpharius, Iron Without Dark Angels, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors and Alpha Legion, the four legions we need to conqurer whole universe
20:45 It's like Venom Snake, they believe and think they are Alpharius, or some Marine from the Space Wolves, or just some random Chaos Lord that has actually been killed years ago. We don't know what side they're on, we don't know why they do what they do, we don't know if their Primarch is actually dead or not, and hell we don't know if we know anything at this point, they may as well be their own faction since we have just NO IDEA what their goals are and who they are actually aligned with. Who knows, maybe the whole LEGION was Deep Cover in Chaos for the Emperor since the Horus Heresy and have actually been Loyalists this whole time, we just don't know and the way the Alpha Legion (And GW) operates means we probably never WILL know.
A theory I just thought of is maby there isn't a Alpharious but that the Emperor needed a deep cover Legion and just made one with a supposed Primarch. It's not a good theory but it's an interesting thought.
- I think its a good theory. With how focused the Universe always is on Primarch importance it would be a pretty sneaky move of the Big E to just make one up for deep cover reasons.
When they eventually release a 40k era Alpharius/Omegon model and story with it (assuming GW continue bringing back primarchs) it will either make or break the Alpha legion but either way we won't be looking at the Alpha legion the same way after.
No one really knows what their end goal is. If they're loyal or traitor, only time will tell. They swear allegiance to no one, that's why when they interact with other factions they disguise themselves as Space Marines from other chapters
I don't think Alpharius will ever die because a lot of the legionaries were augmented to be a near perfect clone of him. So even if he did die it doesn't really matter. All of them are Alpharius
Broke: Dorn killed Alpharius during their duel on Pluto. Woke: Dorn killed a marine posing as Alpharius during their duel on Pluto. Bespoke: During their duel on Pluto, it was Alpharius who killed Dorn and took his place.
Dorn might've been sure he killed Alpharius. The Alpharius that got killed might've been 1000% sure he's the real Alpharius. Buy that doesn't necessarily mean Alpharius is dead.
In short, mission accomplished successfully with minimal casualties: They work in this sector (The sector is in a prosperous state) They know about the artifact and the Necron awakening. Appear or they are essentially guiding the Elves to threaten and seek out They take the Guard and mop up the Elves and Necrons, find the artifact which is from the age of the ancients All the threats are taken care of, they have the artifact. Casualties compared to a full Necron awakening are minimal, essentially. And before that, they prevented an invasion by the treacherous Astartes...
Honestly, I think there are two commanders. One speaks officially, the other not officially. One goes so that the other stays, and the chain of command is not broken if one dies.
I'm 100% sure those two marines were one. Hey, at least they kept and helped Olivus
One chaos and one loyalist alpha marine like a spit personality

I was once an Alpharius like you. Then I took a Storm's Teeth to the neck.

I’m Gregg, sweet, that’s fucking awesome you took my request
So the Alpha Legion is just the Space Marine of the Assassinatorium?

The reality is that Dorn was Alpharius from the start and culled some of his own number for whom his goals were beyond their understanding
I am Alpharius. This is a lie.
I am alpharius and this is true
We shall learn from that strategy

"Ironic" meaning they expected to "drink the blood" of others and ended up outbreeding themselves 🥸
