I completely relate. Ever since I was around 9 years old, I too, have suffered with the looming fear of the future. It's something unknown to the whole of humanity and is impossible to completely prepare for. Addtionally, moving forward into the future requires that you let go of people who are sometimes very close to you. If you're ever feeling anxious about this thought, just remember that even though it might hurt to let certain people fade into memories and even though you can never be prepared for the future, you'll meet other amazing people just like you always have and you'll continue to make happy memories with them.

Reading some of these comments has me realizing how out of touch with my own emotions I've been lately. Like I'm about to go to college and I just graduated and it feels like Tuesday. But then I start thinking about how I'm not going to be in my hometown, I'm not going to be around family, I'm not going to have my old friends, and I made a bunch of amazing memories and it's time for new ones. This song just puts it all into perspective on a spiritual level y'know
This made me think of my friend with seasonal depression - while many people love summer, some find it really difficult, and this year I've shared those feelings. It makes the song a bit more optimistic for me - it's about an ending, but it doesn't have to be a sad one either. Either way it's a really beautiful piece
