@@TerribleEnglish Oh really you can make a better record than Tool?! Well i really wanna hear it. Oh you can't? so sorry you lose you are average player.
I'm 68.......finally getting to see them this year at Welcome To Rockville. SO EXCITED!!! My son saw them years ago and said it was a spiritual experience..................
This is the best live version of Pneuma I've seen from this tour (yes I noticed Adam's little fuck ups at the end). It's extremely powerful, and Danny is so on fire. Man, he killed it. This was the last show on the tour yes? No wonder they blew the roof off. I hope all of you who were there treasure the memories.
That was EXACTLY my thoughts, the opening where he’s keeping his right hand on steady beat while clanking his left stick at a completely different time signature.. would mix me up forever, he’s just got it down perfectly like that.
I cant even put into words what their music does for me. Almost transcendent. Maynard may hate that many fans have such an affinity towards the depth of their work, but he can deal with it. 😂
Ive seen Danny perfeorm this many times. This might be the best one. He crushes it. To me, growing up on Bonham and playing drums my whole life, he is the best I have ever heard. Combines precision with passion.
I thought the same. Is it faster or just tighter? I think it is a bit faster than how they did it before. But I’m not sure. It could be something else.
This was my first tool concert and I was absolutely floored. The atmosphere when the first chorus of this song started was insane I couldn't believe it. Thanks so much for filming so I can look back!
The Fear Inoculum stuff sounds massive live, so much better than the record. I feel like the album versions feel too flat and sterile. Seeing all this material live makes it translate so much more, way more dynamic.
Same with 10k Days... Can't understand why they brought the same producer back to butcher their sound again. The man who produced AEnima and Lateralus was basically a 5th member of the band, he knew how to mix and master their vibe perfectly.
Please send any and all TOOL videos from the concert. . I'm disabled & poor so I can't get to a concert, no matter how much I want to. BEAUTIFUL FILM! The best I've seen, amazing!
Do you live on the States? I think you should save money and see them live, I'm from South America big fan since I was teenager and I save money two years to travel abroad to see them live, one of the best experiences of my life. Best regards toolbro!
I get it that the drummer and guitarists get (create) the time signature. But how does the vocalist get it? While the time signature is complex (supersized), the melody and harmony are less than simple.
Dude.. on the album, maynard comes back in at 10.00 minutes exactly after the interlude... in this video it's at 9.59... music this intricate.. this long.. and they are THAT TIGHT with no click track is fucking mind blowing. I doubt there are many bands in the world that could nail that consistancy
It's very likely that he has, since his seating position and recording tactics seem to be the same like from the show he recorded in 2019, he'll upload it eventually. This man needs a medal though.
This could very well be their greatest song, then again you could say that about any one of their songs. That's what makes them great.
I would call it possibly their worst / most boring song, ha ha.
@@TerribleEnglish Oh really you can make a better record than Tool?! Well i really wanna hear it. Oh you can't? so sorry you lose you are average player.
@@4578a What a silly comment. Have you never said anything was boring to you? Of course you have.
@@TerribleEnglish Actually yes, you. You are boring.
@@TerribleEnglishhe's joshing,🤡🤡
I refuse to die if I don't go see Tool live and hear this masterpiece. If that happens I can die in peace.
I'm 68.......finally getting to see them this year at Welcome To Rockville. SO EXCITED!!! My son saw them years ago and said it was a spiritual experience..................
@@carolschmelz6422 Fuck ya man!! Love to hear it🤘🏼🤘🏼
I was in Krakow Poland. Mindblowing!! Maynard's voice mesmerizing! Still have shivers. Pneuma- masterpiece for me!!!!
His vocals surprised me in Manchester uk, perfect
Best band ever…..Danny is a beast!
Pneuma is one of Tools greatest compositions. It’s so great hearing it live 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Love how you can see Maynard watching Danny throughout his polyrhythm part
Best thing Danny did was "help out" Keenan when he needed a drummer
And drive Maynard around to get crickets for his geckos
This is the best live version of Pneuma I've seen from this tour (yes I noticed Adam's little fuck ups at the end). It's extremely powerful, and Danny is so on fire. Man, he killed it. This was the last show on the tour yes? No wonder they blew the roof off. I hope all of you who were there treasure the memories.
this show was fucking solid
i was there
You guys should all check out Danny Carey drum cam playing this song. Unbelievable how he can play a different time signature on each limb..
That was EXACTLY my thoughts, the opening where he’s keeping his right hand on steady beat while clanking his left stick at a completely different time signature.. would mix me up forever, he’s just got it down perfectly like that.
Fitting that the drummer is the centerpiece because this drum set is beyond phenomenal
He's also the band founder, fittingly so because he's a God among men when it comes to drumming
One of my fave drummers. The other two being Gavin Harrison and Pat Mastelotto. True masters.
All three have been members of King Crimson or KC projects.
Pneuma is just stunning.
I cant even put into words what their music does for me. Almost transcendent. Maynard may hate that many fans have such an affinity towards the depth of their work, but he can deal with it. 😂
Same for me. Maynard May not like it, but he knows he has to deal with it 😅.
Ive seen Danny perfeorm this many times. This might be the best one. He crushes it.
To me, growing up on Bonham and playing drums my whole life, he is the best I have ever heard. Combines precision with passion.
Danny Carey has stepped up his game on this one live. That guy is just insane on drums!
When was Danny not on his a game ? Please tell me
yeah, please do tell when he was ever off point
I thought the same. Is it faster or just tighter? I think it is a bit faster than how they did it before. But I’m not sure. It could be something else.
@@kristoferwallenius8653 it is within 1 second length of the album version, which is so tight it's almost impossible. Unfuckingbelievable
@@TroublesomeOwl Ok, that explains it. It's incredibly tight and is played the way they probably want it to be played.
Can't believe how phenomenal this is
Never been much of a fan of Tool, but what an awesome performance. Should probably check out more of their stuff.
Dude...
Start back at 91 and experience the entire ride my friend.
Um....yeah.
Yes you should 😊
Duh
Yes Danny’s performance on this song is amazing. Can we take a moment to point out Keenan’s stage presence. It’s legendary
This was my first tool concert and I was absolutely floored. The atmosphere when the first chorus of this song started was insane I couldn't believe it. Thanks so much for filming so I can look back!
One of the tightest bands you could ever have the pleasure of experiencing and I have. True craftsmen.
This Whole song is in a Class All By Itself. The percussion in this song is PHENOMENAL ❤
For as strange as Maynard is sometimes.. he nails it every fucking time. They all nail it every fucking time.
Drumming is insane. Danny Carey damn near might be the best drummer alive.
Only one that stands above him is ironically his inspiration and good friend😂 Neil Peart
Agreed , Gavin Harrison is also amazing , check him out
No my friend. He IS the best alive.
Coming back to say I love how loose Justin gets on stage. His swaying back and forth 😂 and he always kinda anxiously glances at Adam 😂
Question is , how do you even compose something like that 🤯
Danny is a genius.❤
The Fear Inoculum stuff sounds massive live, so much better than the record. I feel like the album versions feel too flat and sterile. Seeing all this material live makes it translate so much more, way more dynamic.
Yea I’d say it’s a little to over produced on the record, but live it sounds way more gritty and harder.
Just like Floyd, seeing them live isn't just ' a concert ' it's a ride, a trip, an experience..a discovery
Yep
Same with 10k Days... Can't understand why they brought the same producer back to butcher their sound again. The man who produced AEnima and Lateralus was basically a 5th member of the band, he knew how to mix and master their vibe perfectly.
you should listen to THRAK by king crimson@@Hatrimn
Was there too, great gig as usual.. cant wait for these upcoming euro dates
Saw them in Manchester England on the 1/6/24 - can confirm Danny is a demigod
I was there! Totally mind blowing, they are astonishing musicians
Holy cow. Best drummer ever.
No words.. It's f.. great!!
In a month I'll see them live! AGAIN!
It was superb!
6 months later, how was it?
I was there ....May 24th....absolutely brilliant
Wow, insane. What a band!
Awesome video, but I always wish people would just stick with the wide angle to see the whole stage.
Danny Carey is the best drummer alive! And this is his song to prove it.
Absolute Alchemy and Perfection
YES!
omfg🤘quality is insane...awesome guys, thank you from bottom of my hart😊
That's one bad ass song.
Fractal Resonance Cymatics with a Toroidal Twist ; Tool take it deep ; Bravo 🎉
Eyes full of wonder!!!
Imagine the show they could put on inside the Vegas sphere...
Please send any and all TOOL videos from the concert. . I'm disabled & poor so I can't get to a concert, no matter how much I want to. BEAUTIFUL FILM! The best I've seen, amazing!
Danny Carey is the greatest drummer alive. I was at the concert in Amsterdam, mesmerizing! Great band, love them
Uh no he isn't. Danney is top shelf for sure, but not the best. You need to broaden your horizons and hear the other top level drummers.
realy nice, i've never seen such a good footage of this song
danny carey pneuma. everyone has seen that video. its just a closeup of him drumming check it out.
This song makes me feel lile i'm taking off to Space
I was in Berlin for the second time at the spiritual event that means witnessing a Tool SHOW.
they are so not like other bands. sooo different music. like they are from other planet. i can only remember Opeth when I had the same feelings
Get into 70's prog,best!
Opeth and imperial triumphant are my two big stand outs that’s I’ve never heard another band sound like
I so much agree....like music from an alien planet to me.
@9:27: priceless: both Maynard's and Justin's hands react to the beat 🤘🏻
The best part
Thank you 🇧🇷
tool its awesome i miss them so much
Great recording.
bestes lied aller zeiten. best song EVER
I was crying
Danny Carey is a beast on the drums!
I live in rural Illinois, USA and could never attend live. Thanks for sharing.

9:04 🤩🔥🔥
Amen brother...the song takes off to another dimension at that point.
Can't wait for them to play at Roger's place in Edmonton! It's been way to god damn long since I've seen them live. Time for a spiritual enema!
Saw them at the 02 London absolutely mind blowing.
I’m a musician. To this day, I still don’t know how Danny Carey does it.
TOOL IS FOREVER
Thank you man for this drop !!!!!!!!!!!!
It's my favourite from the show in Budapest. 🤘🎶🎸🎸🥁🎤🌟

OMG! I was blasting this song on my way to work and kept saying "these guys are just monsters". Their power, their timing....just blows me away.
YES! It's all amazing but my hair blows off at 9:20!
@@loriv.8986 exactly!!!! though the whole song is awesome 9:20 onwards just grooves to another level.
Ohhhh noooooooo :( They were here in my hometown and I wasn't there...... :( :( :(
welcome to the club...i wasnt there either. too bad.
My fav song of all time seeing it live was amazing with my dad. 10:36 to 11:07 is my fav part
I had a similar experience during this song my dad told me this was “like a religious experience”
I was there also ! Great concert !
When you get a group of talented guys together who *truly* love music... you get this. :)

Letteralmente IMPRESSIONANTE
Saw them at the 02 absolutely mind blowing.
I was there. Period.
Saw them in Cologne, Pneuma was Colossal, with the light visual and all.
Qué loco es estar en un concierto así, gracias
I get it that the drummer and guitarists get (create) the time signature. But how does the vocalist get it? While the time signature is complex (supersized), the melody and harmony are less than simple.
Agreed. Most singers I played with go by feeling

It's called rehearsal.
Behold! tool hath donned the sock and the sandal and awakeneth.
such an unic band
unique
Tool and Rush are the only two bands that sound better live.
Great Video.
I'm your fan.
I love Maynard's vocal timing in this song. He has to have it perfect for it to sound just right. Edit: Danny is too fucking good.

Please tell me you've filmed the whole show!!!

Epic...
adam messed the outro :( but its ok
Not really. 2 strings added. Sounded nice actually lol
