Probably not, if magic in Remnant is like energy then it can not be destroyed only changed to another form or in the case of the Maidens transferred to whoever Cinder thought of last, or some random woman. Hmm i wonder does remnant have an equivalent to nuclear weapons?

+Dave Callanan I never see them mentioned but considering the early state of lore its to be expected. With my little story Radiation is devastating against aura. My OCs from Earth can't summon Auras of any useable strength, due to higher levels of background radiation on them. Wilhelm the one with the most Aura, can take a single punch. We rely body armor that has gotten a bit of an upgrade over the next four years. Though Earth bullets tend to rip and tear through aura, we are shit in Melee.

If Ruby masters her Silver Eyes power like that, she'll be a terrifying character. That doesn't mean she'll keep her innocence, but she will mature a lot throughout the rest of the volumes.
I have a theory that those who are born with sliver eyes are actually chosen by the God of Light to be the Guardians of the World. thought I don't know they have anything special against magic users, but I can confirm that the eyes are extremely deadly against Grimm.
