Die Angst vor dem Fremden spielt auch in der aktuellen Debatte über die Migrationskrise eine Rolle. Die Philosophin Prof. Dr. Christine Abbt von der School of Humanities and Social Sciences der HSG hat sich in ihrer Forschung intensiv mit der demokratiepolitischen Bedeutung des Fremden aber auch des Imitierenden auseinandergesetzt.
The fear of the foreign also plays a role in the current migration crisis in social and political discourse. In her research, philosopher Prof. Dr. Christine Abbt from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the HSG has dealt intensively with the democratic-political significance of the foreign but also of the imitating.
