    Very nice explanation mam, I have one doubt. delta = A ( u-1 ) for thin prism only. So why we use this formula (mentioned in your video ) for calculating dispersive power of equilateral prism.

      As we are measuring deviation under minimum deviation condition , we can approximate it as equivalent to small angle prism.
