Fantastic, comprehensive review. Thank you, darling. So glad to hear the bag has worked out great for you and that the white isn't so hard to maintain. I'm eyeing this and now sure that the medium is what I need. Love seeing a Kindle in a WIMB! 🥰
OMG, mine (authentic) has a odor inside too! I don't know what it is because none of my other *amzrepe* have any odor. Called LV and they said it's normal and I can wipe the inside with a damp cloth. I also thought the lining was suede but it's actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove microfiber odors because the smell prevents me from using it often.
Me, too. I always felt like I couldn’t handle it or I would fuss over it too much. Maybe my penchant for white sneakers eventually led me to taking on light bags. So happy I took the plunge, though. Light bags have a different, chic vibe. Thank you for watching! 😊
thank you for the review. I'm thinking of getting a white one as well. I'm curious, did ALL the marks or scuffs come off the bag when you wiped or cleaned it? I'm thinking of getting one that has been used so there are scuff marks and possibly stains, I'm not sure. I'm just wondering if you were able to clean or if the scuffs were actual white leather color that was rubbed off from the bag. thank you!🥰
Hi. There are certain marks that I can no longer take off. That’s why I have to diligently check on the bag after every few uses to make sure that any dirt is removed immediately. But scuff marks will stay. Mine are minor so they’re not noticeable except to me since I check every nook and cranny every now and then.
Possibly. Fendi habitually releases capsule collections throughout the year. For example I know of a cream-colored Baguette which is not as white as mine. That one's fairly recent.
Thanks for the one year review. The baguette in white is nice but I hate that Fendi painted the leather trim in black. Would have been nicer as an all white bag so I passed.
Hi. I've used Collonil Carbonpro and 1909 spray on my bags. I'm currently using Havre de Luxe water and stain repellant. Some related videos: Bag Care Basics: ruclips.net/video/wBS23Ip4COU/видео.html Havre de Luxe Bag Care Products I Use: ruclips.net/video/HFKLHX2oQt0/видео.html
Hi, I just found your channel recently. This is an awesome thorough review. Thank you for sharing, I have subscribed to your channel 🙂 I am looking for a white handbag and the Fendi Baguette is on my shortlist. It looks gorgeous and I think I would really enjoy its soft squishy feel. However given it’s such a simple design (no back pocket ☹️) and you would need to buy an extra strap for crossbody wear, I am not sure the bag is worth the price tag. I am also looking at cheaper alternatives and think the Michael Kors Bradshaw Small Woven shoulder bag in light cream colour is a good option. I know the two bags are on either ends of luxury spectrum but I wouldn’t use a white bag that often, just mainly in the spring/summer months and it would be rotated with my other bags as well. So I can’t justify AUD4400 for an occasional use bag 🤔 what do you think about the MK Bradshaw Small Woven shoulder bag in light cream compared to the white Baguette? You’ll obviously have to take the brand name/logo out of the equation and just look at the bag design/features/functionality lol 😂
First of all, thanks for watching the video. 😊 Second of all, you posed a hard question as I honestly already have a bias towards Michael Kors as a brand in general. Not trying to be snobby, just being honest that I don’t like the brand. The bag you’re referring to looks so-so in terms of design but I can’t attest to quality and longevity of the bag. The closest to the Baguette that I can possibly suggest (more than MK) is the Coach Tabby bag (pillow or regular). But again, these are all bags I haven’t seen in person… so I can’t give hard recommendations based on photos alone. Feel free to look at other contemporary brands like Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs or Furla. I also like new brands like Demellier London and Polene… maybe some of their white bags may also catch your fancy. At the end of the day, though, if you love the MK and it suits your style and taste, then go for it. 👍 My opinion won’t really matter as long as you buy what you love and use it well. 😊
@@imbaghappy thank you for the suggestions. I’m not keen on Polene styles, some of the shapes remind me of dumplings 😂 I’ve not heard of Demellier London before but it looks interesting. I also saw Coach has released a new Soft Tabby Shoulder bag in ivory, this looks very practical and I know Coach uses good quality leather. Fendi Baguette is still my preferred choice but I’ve seen some on the preloved market that have not aged well (corner wear, structure loss, stains and scuffs etc) and this is putting me off. I will have to go into the boutique to try it on in person but unfortunately it looks like we (Sydney, Australia) will be in lockdown for another couple of months at least! 😫
Haha no problem… to each their own when it comes to taste in handbags. I agree it's still best to try it on in person. I also agree about wear and tear on this color; so it’s really all up to you if you will take that risk and will commit to proper care to maintain the bag. You may also try to look at other light colors of the Baguette that are almost white like the camellia color (fairly recent release)… Given some of what you’ve been saying so far, though, looking for less expensive alternatives seems a bit like “settling.” So you just have to keep asking yourself the question, would buying less expensive, similar-looking bags make you no longer want the Baguette? If no, then you know what you should go for. I didn’t buy the bag full price… The retail price for me was also quite steep. I just had to keep looking for a good deal, getting the best price I can from Europe-based personal shoppers (where everything is cheaper) before jumping on the purchase. I’m not sure if that’s an option for you?
@@imbaghappy that’s a great idea! Can you please recommend some trustworthy Europe based resellers? I haven’t used Instagram resellers before so am wary of scammers 😬
I may not be able to suggest a lot if you're based in Australia. The seller I bought from was also Filipino so all her prices were in Pesos and is used to shipping direct to Philippines. I remember asking @gabwallerdotcom on IG (Australia-based) for a quote so you may want to check with her team? www.gabwaller.com/ Not sure how much it will add up to, though, and whether it will be cheaper compared to Australia price.
@@imbaghappy yesss! I checked it after commenting (sorry!) cos was curious and it is lamb skin! Omg, i feel cheated lol. S.As should at least know their materials 🥲 Thanks for this review, i’m choosing between this bag or a loewe puzzle in small. Kinda want a more casual bag hence the puzzle, but when i tried the baguette it is just soo pretty!!
so my baguette is actually calfskin but it’s because it’s the metallic one from the Lunar New Year ( 2 years old now). So some are if you search certain colors :)
Thanks for that information… Fendi plays with different designs and materials a lot so that’s very likely that the SA got confused or they were really referring to something calfskin.
Hi. This is the white one, not the beige. The beige Baguette wasn't yet out yet when I bought this. It's just gotten a tad off white since buying it; but it's not too obvious unless I put it side by side with a new one at the store. It honestly doesn't bother me; but may bother others.
@@imbaghappy ohhh i see. Its beautiful all the lighter colors are beautiful of the baguette collection. Personally im a black bag girl lol. I really like the beige. X

Does the baguette come in other hardware tones? Love this thorough review btw! I’m a new subscriber 🤍
I’m not that sure; but the fendi.com site has a bunch of Baguettes there so feel free to browse to your heart’s content! Thank you for the sub!
Really liked your video! Thanks for showing the wear and tear! Really helped me to form my decision on the bag
Thank you so much! Happy to help… 😊
It's beautiful
I've seen both brushed gold and gloss gold for the buckle..is it a year thing?
Possibly. Fendi habitually releases capsule collections throughout the year. For example I know of a cream-colored Baguette which is not as white as mine. That one's fairly recent.
Really helpful review! This bag is on my wish list (but in a darker color 😊). Just subscribed to your channel 💕

What’s great is the baguette comes in different colors so hopefully one will strike your fancy soon 😊
This is the white color or light gray?
This is white

Is that bag in a light white colour or is it „creme white“?
I think this is the really white one. The more cream/off-white one was released just last year or so.
I like your bag. How come you have 2 coinpurse?
The Chanel one is my main wallet. The coin purse contains my earphones for my laptop at work. Thus, the two purses. :)
Hi, do you mind sharing which protective spray you used?

Hi. I purchased mine from lovemybags.ph a local brand (Philippines).
You are very organized and very detailed.
Thank you new sub✌️
Thank you! :)
I actually find the longer strap too long! I love a good shoulder bag xoxo
Haha I still can’t get used to shoulder bags… I’m more of a crossbody girl and due to my built, i look ridiculous when i try to wear it crossbody 😅
@@imbaghappy lucky for you actually. So many bags have straps that are too long for me it's hard to find something suitable 😭

Owh this is in lamb skin? I just tried it on the other day, and the S.A told me it was in nappa leather which is essentially calf skin.
I checked the Fendi website before filming and it’s labeled as 100% lambskin there so that was my reference
