    Not enough praise for this performance. Thomas Allen: great singer, very enjoyable acting in opera, can only assume he's a lovely man too :)

      +H Adamson He's beloved by both audiences and singers alike: I've had the pleasure of meeting him twice in person and he is indeed a very lovely man. Plus he makes a smashing Count Danilo (my favourite out of them all). :)

    The English text is brilliant: funnier than the original! Thomas Allen is a perfect Danilo.
