BMW has given the X6 M a facelift for the 2024 model year, complete with revised sheet metal that creates a more chiseled look, crisp exterior lighting elements, a spruced-up interior with a new curved center display, and a new V-8 engine and eight-speed transmission fitted with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Additionally, the X6 M is now offered exclusively as a Competition model with 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. The German marque has outfitted the high-performance fastback SUV with other enhancements, too, including new carbon shift paddles, more standard safety tech, an M-specific version of iDrive, and more. There are also three new colors: Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Isle of Man Green Metallic, and Frozen Pure Grey Metallic.

what is the deal with these stupid electronic "tablets" that doesn't even look like a dashboard anymore...
Getting rid of the shift knob on a "drivers car", one that's supposed to "engage the driver" baffles me. I read somewhere that the next generation is going to have virtual shift paddles on the touch screen, and a voice activated gas pedal to "declutter the cabin". They kept it on the full M X5 and X6 so they know people want it. WTF?

Why doors handles still the same as the old one?
The wheels look stupidly small.
They still ain’t increase the back seating length or allow the back seats to recline further seriously 😒
When will they increase the head and leg room even by a half inch

This is a Sports Activity Coupe, if backseat space is important to you then you buy an X5, not an X6
@@rayaan6951 i had an x5 & an x6 and what I am saying is something as small as an inch here and the ability recline would remove the back seat from being useless and feel like a rolling death coffin .

U can tell both vehicle have limited bakc seat space when you look at the size of the back doors .
I drive from state to state and the back of the x6 feel like a cluster phobic nightmare it’s not even funnny..
One morning I went into a dip leaving jfk airport and my backseat passenger hit his head on the roof so hard .
Anyone sit behind you , your seat has to stand straight up and u have to slide the seat forward . This is not just the x6 this is the x5 also .
I’ve had an x6 for 5 years and an x5 f3 years prior … looking to purchase a newer year , and I drive rental cars all the time.
Nissan, gm n Hyundai do not feel as cramped as bmw SUV’s..
Because simple their backseat has an inch extra headroom, length and recline very far . So back seat passengers don’t feel like their in a jail cell or torched chamber.!!

Owner of 440i and x6 50i. I personally don’t give a shit about back row seat. Your remark will make more sense if you post it under a vid about x5. But honestly, I would just get a x7 with captain seats.

It makes sense if they stop limiting recline the range on the backseat.
This is a reason I wouldn’t buy an upgraded model .
And now the x5 which I had a second generation. They kept limiting the range.
@@48hourrecordsteam45 Once again, the X6 isn't a car that's meant to be for backseat passengers. It's a big coupe that can fit backseat passengers, but it isn't meant to be super comfortable for them like the X5 and X7 are
