    Some of the cleanest trimming I’ve seen on a wj.

    Great job on the front and Rear. Took your time and trimmed back in a methodical way. Very NICE, Best I've seen

    There should be a sheet metal piece that bolts to the lower radiator support and provides for securing the lower part of the bumper cover. A quick trip to the pick and pull and you should find it on any WJ. Good thinking on the dinner plate, I often use random items in the garage as well to get clean radiuses. I am in process of working through the same type of trimming, with the windshield washer bottle relocated, the fog lights removed, and fender liner reformed. It is pretty tough to start cutting on a pristine bumper cover though....

      Thanks for the heads up! Found one at Pick a Part and installed. I just had to trim a couple inches off of the ends

      Do you have to move the windshield washer tank to trim the bumper like this?

      @@rob_225 yes, I have a separate video for that using one of a zj

      @@rob_225 I removed the tank for tire clearance, then the fog lights, before taking a hard look at the bumper. It has been a few months but I think it does hang low enough that you will need to remove it.

    What’s your wheel/ tire setup? Looks good.

    What size tires are you running? I have 33s and they are centered up in the wheel well perfect. But I only have maybe an inch clearance on the back side and I get slight rubbing at full lock. You look like you have a good 2-3 inches on the back side so no trimming needed to be done. I will either have to trim or push my axle forward some. I really don't want to take all that front end loose again to adjust the lower arms the re-adjust the caster. It would be quicker to trim the back. Just wondered how you got so much cleareance on the back side of the tire.

      @@SoCalTrooper I just trimmed mine. Easier than moving the axle forward.

    I've watched your videos like 3x's already thanx! Do you think 33" tires would rub too much?

    • @SoCalTrooper
      @SoCalTrooper  3 года назад

      Depends on what lift you have and how much you trim
