I empathize with your frustration. I’m so ready for the blind bag phase to be over. I highly believe it is a form of gambling and not something we should teach kids is ok. And as a collector, it’s so frustrating spending so much money on duplicates just to get the last few to complete your collection.
I mean, these blind bag things are not new, and have been around for yearssssss. There’s nothing wrong with them, nor is it teaching kids gambling lmfao. What a weird thing to claim. You guys find every thing you can complain about these days. They’re toys in the end, it’s not a big deal, and crying over it and throwing a fit about not getting what you want is the real problem here. Blind bags will never go out of style, especially with how extremely popular they are with several big brands. Glad they’re a thing, it’s something fun to get, and then you move tf on.
how is this any different then buying packs of sports cards or TCG cards? i mean if you want to get the whole collection then you have to spend the money to get them its kind of strange to expect the whole series to be given to you

@@kathiebigelow2356 Right, that’s why I said I wish the trend would end… You obviously don’t hardcore collect anything. It’s a waste of money to continue buying blind bags just to get the same ones. Plus it’s a waste of packaging materials too. I’m sure you’d also find a problem with people returning opened blind bags too if they got duplicates, wouldn’t you? And when I said gambling, I mean it inadvertently shows kids that spending a crap ton of money on something and never knowing what you’re gonna get and that rush of dopamine from the thrill of the hunt is okay. That’s gambling and being frivolous with money. If you have disposable income, good for you but not everyone does. Like I said, you obviously don’t collect anything, so enjoy your blind bags!!!
@@redschafer7804 But see, card packs have been around for forever and that’s how they’ve always been presented. Toys on the other hand USED to show what you’d get... Blind bag toys only recently became popular the last few years. I don’t expect the entire collection to be given to me, but I also don’t enjoy spending tons of money just to end up with duplicates. What do you do with duplicate cards? Return opened packs? Yet everyone finds a problem with returning duplicates
Love these! I’m a huge book reader and can’t wait to collect these! I just wish all the pages were readable even if we don’t get more than a couple chapters.
I don't understand why they can't make the whole books readable. It's really disappointing that they just make some pages readable. It's possible to make pages that tiny readable so they should make the whole book readable. I bought 5 zuru balls for the books. But I will not be buying anymore because they're not fully readable and it's disappointing

Ooh, I've been very tempted by a few of these kind of mini/kit balls - I remind myself while they look cool, I don't need any more things to lose among the rest of my stuff lol... but 10 year old me who had zero such concerns would have gone crazy for these.
It is understandable but disappointing that it's only the first few pages you can actually read, though.

The only disappointment I have with this collection are the C. Hoover books. Like really? There are so many great books out there and they had to choose CH books.

Correct! Boxes are not free, remember. You have to pay for them. 😜 I actually found another box last night after 14 Target stores in 3 different states. No lazies allowed at @CoolToysOfficial!!😂 You guys are worth the hard work and effort.😍 Hopefully we can complete the collection! Stay tune!

They're probably printing about as much as you get when you're looking for a book online and you can read a little preview. Most of the books aren't old enough to be in the public domain either so if they were to print more they'd probably have to buy the rights. Which would make the surprise balls even more expensive. I do love the quality of the covers and that at least a few pages are readable. The duplicates might make nice accessories for a classroom diorama, depending on the book. Otherwise you need a mini bookstore!
I’m so bummed that Clueless and the Burn Book are not the common books. I also wish that they had more of a variety of authors. One book per author of the children’s books would have been great. In my humble opinion I wish they had all the classics (they could have had the entire set of Jane Austen for example and maybe one Kafka and one Dostojevski to make our mini libraries look complete). I wish they had the millennium series and some Scandinavian must reads. I can’t believe they didn’t include a single Astrid Lindgren book 🤓. They should have had a Pippi Longstocking in there at the very least. It would have been cool, well the right word is probably educational if they added books by authors who received the Nobel Prize in literature 🤷🏼♀️.
I would have liked to see “The Woman in me” by Britney Spears 😄 in there. So far the only books 📚 I would want is: Clueless, The Burn Book, The peculiar children one because my 9 year old LOVES that one, Alice in Wonderland, Black Beauty, the one about the giant because my kids love that one…those are the only books I can remember right now. I hope they make a second series as well (and take my wishes into consideration 😂). Books 📚 are a great mini gift 🎁 for all of our miniature collecting friends so don’t feel sad about Your duplicate. They are thin enough to go in an envelope ✉️ with a Christmas Card! ❤ I do fully comprehend Your frustration.

I dont believe those are actually words, I think its the other way around its to read the words that are from the actual book

I've seen for other mini brands items they released little stores, like Disney store, a Minimarket type convenience store. So I am wondering if they are going to release a bookstore set? If so, having multiples of the same to stack up or shelf together would not be bad. Or you could build your own book nook bookstore scene with these as well. This is the only mini brand item besides the Halloween make-it mini that I have been tempted to get.

I thought u can read all the pages or try to read them but when they r so small and cute 🥰 now I might not spend my money 💵 on this collection. And I also thought u could get five books 📚 ughhhh it’s so difficult. And not promising and these mini collections are always around $9-$11 so they aren’t cheap

OMG I love these!!! I absolutely MUST have the Vampire Diaries and Burn Book minis - and Baby-Sitters Club! Heck, even Stranger Things! I love them all! If only the Burn Book had actual pages from the movie in it lol. I find it disappointing that each store will only sell one box worth... and not even all stores will get them. That automatically means my store won't get them, because my store never has anything. So I'll have to resort to buying them online, which will hike up the price thanks to shipping. It's also disappointing that you only get four in a ball whereas in all the other series we got five. Does this mean they'll be cheaper? Somehow I doubt it. The magnifying glass shouldn't count as one of the five surprises, and neither should the bookmark. Both should automatically be included in each capsule - at the very least the magnifying glass because these are so tiny. I usually wind up finding these online anyway because if I wound up with that many cat comics and Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, I'd be sooooo mad. I don't even care for Diary of a Wimpy Kid, regardless of how popular it is. And it never fails, the ones I want the most are the ones I can't get lol

I like blind bags but only if I buy one or two, when you try to complete a collection it’s too hard. I hope you can get the full collection maybe changing your duplicates, good luck!

bought one of these on Amazon for 8 bucks and change because I love books and toys. I was sad to only get 3 books with the bookcase. I was expecting five books to go with my toys. No bookmarks or magnifying glass. I gave it one star on Amazon.
