    This is a great advancement in the field of LED blinking. It basically puts the standard blink to shame, ushering in a new era of blinking sketches. One day you will win the Nobel Prize for LED blink, once they introduce it 😂

    Nice video. 1st thing that came to my mind for a use scenario for that device is a Watch with some weather, time and date information. Yet the uses for it are infinite. Like for example, the M5Stick some people used it as a watch since the full kit even included a belt to fastened the M5stick on the wrist. Another idea could be to use it as a humidity monitor for plants adding to it a HAT that give out telemetry. Anyways, glad you've taken the time to post another video. Am always checking daily for new uploads to your channel. Love you videos. Take care, stay safe and blessings.

    This by far the most fulfilled video for makers. It's not about paid advertisement. If people buy or not buy. It doesn't change the person right to like or dislike . But if it's leading people to get a little more time listening. Like me. Maybe we can coble that up for someone someplace somewhere somewhen something somekind of cobbled up contraption that changes everything

    Thank you for the continued videos and projects sir. I have a question.
    On their site there are 2 units. I’ll probably just buy both but im wondering what the difference is between the two. Besides the flash/psram they seem identical but I am not advanced enough to understand the difference.
    Also, have you noticed the T-HMI?
    I received an ESP32 LVLG 3.5” from AliExpress about a week ago but think I’ll be purchasing this from lilygo also.
    It would be great to see any projects from yourself with this also if you ever get one.
    Thank you for all your work and I’ll make sure to purchase this evening using your link.

    Forty years ago I used to work at a place that made labeling machinery. They had a controller with fourteen 555 timers to set the various delay parameters that were changed by potentiometer where the label will be applied to the packages moving on a conveyor. Later the controller used a microcontroller and the time delay is set digitally. The customer didn't like it and moved on with the competitor.
    If someone had implemented similar to the above project, they would have kept their customers. Any type of PLC is about timing and this project is the core of it.

    I'd like to build this Blink on Steroids project,. Your video image quality is superb but I really wish you had made a simple schematic of how to wire the LED/ 10k? ohm potentiometer and the resistor to the module pins via the socket headers. See Time 3:27 for example of all we have on this . I think one of the most creative things you do is come up with interesting ways to avoid using perf-bread boards to keep the project super small. I can use this as a digital waveform generator and perhaps may need to buffer it's output with an opamp or Txistor but it would be a great teaching device alongside and o-scope so I ordered a couple more of these TQT devices since they are super cool.

    Hello. You seem to be the T-QT pro expert, so I have a question for you. I am trying to figure out the best way to attach a battery to the battery +/- pads on the tiny board. I actually had a couple pads pull right off the board after soldering. Ended up putting UV curing glue on the leads to keep them in place after soldering. I just don’t like having a battery cable hanging off the back, especially with the mini case on.
    In an effort to keep the solution compact, it would have been nice to have a + battery in pin.
    Anyway, just wanted to see if you came up with any interesting solution or have seen anyone attaching batteries to these boards.
    Thank you.

    You really should move away from the arduino ide. If you use the vscode extension for the esp-idf you can add arduino in as a component. It lets you do proper debugging on the microcontroller with can be very useful as well as letting you control and use more of the chip.

    I know you're not about troubleshooting these things, but any suggestions where I could look? I basically can't find any documentation for the T-QT anywhere, so I have no clue if I've even got the right libraries or whatever. Thank you!

    • @VolosProjects

      hello, you need to use library you can find in this repo github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/T-QT , in repo you can find "lib" folder and inside that folder you can find TFT_eSPI folder, copy that folder in your Arduino/libraries folder. Instalation is same like in this video ruclips.net/video/gpyeMjM9cOU/видео.html you will just use another github repo for T-qt

      Can I ask why that is better?
      I have yet to find a project where it has any benefit.
      (And on the down-side, it doesn't play well with PlatformIO)

    • @rdyer8764
      @rdyer8764 Год назад

      @@dozog That's a really good point. I'm new to ESP32, and what I like to do when I start using a new line of CPUs for my projects is to standardize on one SKU and learn it as best I can. Since cost isn't really a consideration as this is just a hobby for me, I assumed the S3 was a way to future-proof my learning by going with what was newer, and it has some nice features. I hadn't yet looked at all the parameters. It's good to challenge my assumptions.
      On the other hand, I don't use PlatformIO since the Arduino eco-system is working just fine for me, and it works well with the other non-ESP32 CPUs I use. Maybe I'll look at that in the future if I need another topic to absorb some more of my spare time. ;))

    • @dozog
      @dozog Год назад

      @@rdyer8764 Thanks for your response.
      I bought too many Arduino-Nano's when that was new, and Arduino-mini's to build into stuff.... when ESP8266 was not available for Arduino. So I totally get that you want to learn something that can satisfy you for the coming years.
      Depending on how complicated your projects are, Arduino platform works, but after someone on youtube made a video about PlatformIO, I decided to give it a go.
      For more complicated projects (when you start to write your own classes, and use more than just the single my_sketch.ino) and especially if you want to understand some fancy features of the libraries you use.... PlatformIO is just a godsend.
      It keeps track of where you have created a function, or where a library function is, so you can quickly go there and look at how it is implemented.
      It is a bit of a learning curve, and I don't think I use it as it was exactly intended, but I really don't want to go back.
      So the liligo T-QT (though I love how QT it is) was a bit disappointing, because it does not (yet) work very well with the platformIO.
      I am also just a hobby coder.
      Good luck and have fun with your projects. 🙂
