Great educational video. I haven't used a sewing machine, since the late 70's with my grandma. It was a foot operated Singer Sewing Machine. Watching this video taught me how to use a powered operated Sewing machine rather than a needle and thread. Thank you so much for sharing this great educational video.
In the video for threading the bobbin, she says "make the thread go counter clock wise" but watching it a few times, she makes it turn "clock wise" after doing so, it has worked just fine.
Ok guys. Everyone is complaining on how to thread the bottom bobin bt this is my own way of doing it. Afterpassing the upper thread through the needle and eaving about 3 inches of its loose thread after the needle eye hanging freely. Insert the bottom bobin clockwise with also about three inches freely hanging off the bobib. Dont put the lower bobin cover. Just turn the machine on without any fabric inside but with the needle threaded. The needle thread will automatically pull the lower bobin thread from the lowere bobin and entangle with it. Just pull the needle thread back up from the sewing hole it will come up with the lower bobin thread. I reapeat, thread needle and leave 3 inches free, insert lower bobbin and also leave 3inches free, switch on machin without fabric inside thil both bobin threads entangle and then pull up the thread from the needle, it will show up with the lower bobbing n thread
Great video! I was trying to get the bottom bobbin to catch the hard way....with the cover ON and leaving some loose thread. Your video does a *profoundly* better job at explaining this models basic "how to get started" instructions. Thank you!
.... This machine almost didn't make it back to the store for a refund. Absolutely WORST hand held I have ever dealt with. Funny thing is most people have issues with the bobber but that was the easiest part for me. The fracking tensioner was the issue. 3 hours making micro adjustments to get my sew lines proper was impossible. Both lines taking turns on which one would be SUPER loose. Almost threw it across the room and danced on it's dead body.
Thank you so much im a beginner sewer. Lucky for me mines came already done so I just had to practice. I just can’t keep my fabric straight enough for a straight line😭
Going to fast explaining how to thread the machine unfortunately can't see under machine questions do bring the thread through the same guide only see one .
You didn't explain how to do the bottom bobbin, you just kinda took the old one out from the bottom bobbin but you didn't explain exactly where the thread go from the bottom bobbin to the top.
2:29 What happens to the loose end from the bobbin and the loose end from the needle? Should they be tied together or just randomly hang free like that?
OKAY GUYS! I figured out the issue with the bottom bob not being caught by the needle. Ill post a tutorial of how to thread the machine. This tutorial confused me as well.
My top thread through the needle keeps tearing. I got halfway through my project and I can’t figure out why it’s not working. I’ve rethreaded it at least 15 times, checked the tension, looked at both bobbin and there’s nothing I can see wrong. Help??!
Try changing the tension on the thread. The same thing happened to me and my tension was too tight. I loosened it all the way and gradually tighten it until I got it. Now my needle doesn't come unthread at all.
BUMMER As soon as I opened the machine, I noticed the needle was crooked.. When I tried to run it, it would just stop because the needle was hitting the pressure foot... Tried to replace the needle and when I ran it again the tip of the needle broke off.... NOT FOR BEGINNERS. (Review by Jordan)
So basically, what I did was use the metal thread catcher and inserted it top down into the bottom hole next to the needle as towards the center as I could, until it stuck out near the bottom bobbin. Then I threaded the thread catcher and pulled it through the hole like it should be.
Jesus! I just got it home and plugged it in. A couple hours later I smell smoke and the thing starts jacking up and down bouncing all over the counter!? Maybe do an exorcism on it right out of the box first thing!??
Honestly, this is the worst thing I’ve ever used. It jams frequently, it’s quite cumbersome to thread, and what she forgot to tell you is in order to change the needle, it requires a special screwdriver head and I can’t find the instructions and I don’t see anything online that tells me what screwdriver head it is. I have a tool kit with 20 different screwdriver heads and none of them work. And the needle broke so I have to replace it! For $28 from Walmart, I guess I can’t really complain. But next week, I’m buying a regular sewing machine. This thing SUCKS!
These presentations never show a real situation but two pieces of plain fabric that represents nothing. Never seen a pair of pants being fixed or a shirt having its wait reduced.
It’s IMPOSSIBLE to thread!!! I tried, my wife, my brother, my sister in law all tried!!! You can’t do it! Tried numerous times and threw away. Complete garbage
Great educational video.

A very very clear explanation in word and picture. Thank you very much! 😃

Same. I had to watch it a few times. Now it works.

Yes she did @2:05 into the video. I had to rewatch it a few times to figure it out, but she did explain it
Shoot me a email and I’ll send a video on how to do it
@@a_soldierz_genetics can you tell me how I’m lost too
@@breanaaragon562 toss a email in the reply and I got you. I had to watch the clip about 10 times to finally catch what she was doing
I’m confused. Is the fabric under the thread or does the fabric push the thread through?
Thank you this video was very helpful 😊
2:29 What happens to the loose end from the bobbin and the loose end from the needle? Should they be tied together or just randomly hang free like that?
Randomly hang free
