I love you so much. You inspired me. My natural hair journey started with you. I don’t know why I got emotional watching this video. To be honest with you 2019 was very harsh on me. My depression started in May of 2019 I could say up until December because I’m doing much better now. I find myself worrying about my future, lack of self-esteem after leaving a 6 years relationship but through it all I found peace with morning devotions and my petty funny sisters lol. I’m so ready for 2020. ❤️
My 2019 was heartbreaking in ways I can't fully describe. I endured pain I thought I never would again and lost a lot I thought I wouldn't, was let down by those I trusted, but I have faith that this year will be different. That it will be full of love, triumphant, self love, and self growth.

Regarding the scale: ditched mine many, many years ago and have been just fine without it. I prefer mindfulness to a scale any day. Maturity is to be commended for this stance. I embraced the scale in 2019. I’ve been on a weight loss journey since Feb and decided to maintain where I was for a period of time in Nov just to take a break and during that period I weighed myself everyday. I realized that the scale didn’t make or break me, it was just a tool I used to decide how I was going to eat that day. I worked great. I don’t weigh daily anymore because I’m back trying to drop weight, so I’m just weighing once a week, but when I go back to maintenance I’ll start weighing everyday again. It just depends on the person.
Yeah it depends on the person. For me the scale was toxic. I had to let it go and Im so happy I did. Im happy to hear you hav a better relationship with it as well.
