This is absolutely fantastic! Really you have no idea how much I've struggled with the percussive'side of the song so it's so great to have someone walk through it as you have here. I have been playing this song for a few months with the same chords as you use (but with bad percussive technique!).
Just one thing though, I use a slightly different chord for the first Dm of the chorus - it is: x22x1x rather than x2xx1x; it just gives that 'dreaming!' word more ooomph with that subtle change, though I can't say it's necessarily correct - but just how I've been playing it :-) Really enjoy your videos generally, keep up the great work!
Or, as i've just seen below, if only two notes of the chord are played (?) that would be Dm x 2 x x 1 x - though if so then what is the percussive finger hitting?
Was excited to come across this but all this video does is to show you playing the song. The chord shapes are completely obscured by your fingers. A wasted opportunity.

the chord and tab link doesn't work.. is there a new one?
Hi there. I tried clicking on the link in the video description and it still works for me. Let me know if you're still having problems. Malcolm
@@malcolmpaine still not working. could you just write the chord shapes here e.g. Dm x 2 0 0 1 0?
